A Mazda’s driving dynamics, ergonomics and quality, especially for the price, is pretty much at the highest of the class. If you haven’t driven a new Mazda against all the competitors you mentioned, do it.

You wonky Jalops will never be happy. Buick just brought you this. Yeah. This. In poop brown. Oh, it doesn’t have a manual? Nobody buys manuals anymore, though I do, but understand that these car makers aren’t in the business of losing money. Someone listened to you guys. You still won’t buy them.

It also is programmed really, really well.

Oh, you're totally right. I just got a CX-5 last summer. It was my first Mazda and was stunned with the quality combined with enjoyable to drive. It's cheap to own and the depreciation is great! That's why it's in the front-running spot. The budget is 30-55k with the main goal being fun, different and a smaller hatch.

That's a good question. It actually is a testament of how good the new Mazdas are now. The GLA regular is just a boring car. The Mazda has all the quality and a manual. I think that's what kicks it up a few notches for me. The AMG's interior is lower quality in my opinion than the Mazda's. The budget is 30-55k.

That is not a shitty transmission. It’s an automatic, but it’s not shitty. I could rattle on 15 brands and their models with shittier transmissions than the Mazda SkyActiv 6-Speed auto.

Fantastic! Someone who will actually buy one of these brand new! I’m between a new, loaded 3 Hatch manual FWD or Mercedes GLA 45 AMG.

If ANY of you haven’t driven a new Mazda, do it. They are punching way above their weight in pricing, and they’re a blast to drive.

I love these guys keeping their ailing LR3s. Not even LR4s. They most likely wouldn’t buy a new LR anyway.

Honestly people, that 2.5L has plenty of power across the rev range. Especially in a car this small.

Manuals are becoming solely an enthusiast request. They are either going to start becoming an extra price option if possible, or lumped in with other expensive features on higher trim levels.

I believe they've already released the build sheet. I almost specifically remember no AWD with manual, and only manual on the hatch in a high trim level.

I just mean the time it takes to take it in for a simple repair. Maybe it is reliable!

Woof.

(Rolls eyes)

Balls to do it? I have the balls to do it, too. I just know I’d most likely pile it into a ditch. I’m pretty damn good on an asphalt track though. Plenty of experience.

I do the same as when people criticize me at my job, or with politicians. I bet you’re then the WRC driving authority. I can almost guarantee my driving credentials are at least much better than yours.

Boom! All I ever see him do in competitive motorsports is crash. His quick showing in WRC showed his skill to the rest of the world.

Can you imagine when something goes wrong? Yeesh!

Cool story.
