oh hello used 991.1S competitor, this is very interesting and throws a whole new wrench in the works

Came to post this. Lincoln ran these wheels on the Town Car and Continentals as well. Much more likely these were used than BMW wheels.

Conversely, here’s what most BRZs with 27 miles on them look like.

2 engine replacements?

Hell, they could even call it the mx-7

Ok, Mazda. I want you to hear me out on this...

They can make nuclear missiles you can launch from a submarine a thousand miles away to kill millions of people, but they can’t make an inkjet printer that can print multi-part forms.

I get what you’re saying man, fuck these people. It’s true....who would want to buy such a super special edition twice the money version of their entry level vehicle, whatever the horsepower and shiny gloss plastic trim it might have, it makes no fucking sense.

Sweet. With the CLA35 and now the 45 and 45s - they can justify charging more and more until they cost as much as a base 911 or an M3.

Its actually doing really rather well in the reliability survays. Third most reliable car in the mid size saloon in the UK

I’ve owned two for a decade and a half. The only time either has left me stranded has been due to my mechanical inadequacies. Yes, one of them occasionally tells me the oils is low when it isn’t. I restart the car or ignore it, and get on with enjoying the hell out of it.

The Camry is a very nice transportation appliance designed by a series if dysfunctional committees. Yes, it’s a great car, which I recommend often, to people that don’t like driving, give a shit about cars or have any kind of design / aesthetic sense but know they must have a car to get places.

I didn’t say that at all. No diff should go at 20k miles, but it happens in all makes, including Toyotas and Hondas. A close friend needed a new rear axle in his ‘19 Audi A5 after 900 miles. In any case, it should have taken a few days or a week at most to replace. Alfa’s ineffectual parts supply chain made that issue

Enjoy your Camry that Consumer Reports convinced you to buy, with all your “reading.”

I’ve got a 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C. The only trouble I’ve had with it was the weatherstripping at the bottom of the side windows developed water spots. The dealer replaced them under warranty. I’ve also got a 1984 Spider Veloce that just had the engine rebuilt at 161,000 miles. I’ve got a friend with a BMW 5 series that is

Seems to me the QVs are a lot more unreliable than the regular Giulias. Nearing the end of the 2-year lease of my Ti. The only issues I’ve had are two separate occasions (6 months apart) of incidental misfire, the second of which sent the car into limp mode. Neither came back after wiping the errors. Still considering
