I remember this article when it first came out on paper! I still think it is one of the funniest articles I’ve ever read! Great reference!

MAGA Cab!

I bought a brand new Focus ST3 as well. I just wonder why they just don’t import them from overseas, like the previous RS? What’s the harm of that? They’re already making them. Just send them over!

As an ex-owner of a brand new Focus ST3 and in the market for another...

What an absolute waste of money when you can hire someone to do that for minimal fee. Catch my drift?

Ha! I also know the owner of one if the bigger contractors on the world stage. I can tell you that they have way more F-150s than Super Duties. They don't need that kind of capacity in a pickup, and it's a waste of money overall unless they need it. From the horse's mouth.

I owned a Jag and a Rover Sport with that 5.0L supercharged. That’s one HELL of an engine. I now have the 3.0L SC and it’s still a great motor, even with less cylinders! I’m in the market for the Jag Sportbrake S. Can’t wait!

Bah! Yeah, like carting around their lawn mowers to get an oil change.

This is exactly what I was trying to say on the Ford Super Duty post. Most of these I see are NOT work trucks. They’re NOT pulling things. They’re driving it as a normal truck.

I rarely see people like your parents with those things.

I never see these Super Duties out for work. They’re usually King Ranch and Platinums with some bro or an old husband and wife in it. They never are towing, and there’s never anything in the back. And I commute 80 miles per day.

My point is that I see these rolling around my home state. Most times, they are absolutely not doing any work and are ones like the King Ranch or Platinum. That sure isn’t a work truck.

Though you kind of make my point. Most people needing that kind of capacity only use that like twice a year. In my home state, most who drive around these Super Duties have these as their personal vehicles, and I never see them using them for work.

Ha ha!

Bah ha! And I have a big ol’ boat to tow!

Bingo. I can’t believe the capacities of the normal F-150.

Yup. That’s kind of what I was getting at with my original post. Even the towing capacities of the F-150s are crazy high.

My god, that’s a lot of torque.

This is correct.

I will happily pay. About to pull the trigger on the Jag XF SportBrake. I will pay $5,000 more to get a manual. At least.
