Ha ha! “It’s a real term.”

“Bomb cyclone.” Boy, are you right! Attention, attention, attention.

Francis has owned 500+ HP cars for track use. Drag racing street cars is a far cry from taking them to racetracks.

Yeah. Some of these internet videos just have way too much enthusiasm for nothing. Why was he screaming?

Presenter: “This was absolutely epic!”

Joke’s on you guys. That’s the valet of the local Capital Grille. ;)

I was looking at a G Wagen for my wife. After feeling like going through a washing machine because of the piss poor ride, there was no way I was buying that for that kind of money. The noise was also also unacceptable for that price. If I wanted that experience, I’d buy a base Wrangler.

QuadPole, I think it’s the Focus RS having the head gasket problem. I tracked the piss out of my old Focus ST and it never missed a beat. It was a very nice little car, but the brakes would get pretty hot. Also, the FWD putting too much constant load on the tires, but I did get 11 track days out of the stock Goodyear

Come on, Schuder! Grow a pair.... of headers. ;)

We’re kind of in the same boat! I was fed up with the cost of consumables, when I’d see these Corvettes and Porsches run a whole year on a set of pads. I bought a 991, but just the freaking cost of keeping it on the road was bugging me with car payments, oil changes and just the rate it was eating its P-Zero NOs. So

Oh, you really just like the “classics.” Cool! Yeah, the 6.2 probably isn’t a classic. I must’ve mis-read your comment. Carry on, V8 lover! Ha ha! I’m still grateful GM makes that motor.

Oh man. GM’s latest 6.2 in both the Corvette and truck application is an amazing V8. I have the truck version. I’ve had some pretty sweet engines over the years as well. You should try one.

Good question, but I did use Hawk DTC-60s with Motul RBF 660. I even put high carbon Centric blanks upfront. Focus STs had an E-diff up front with torque vectoring. That combined with no ventilation caused those suckers to just glow, and never cool off! I’d have to bleed every day. I boiled one caliper, once. They’re

We’ll see! Check back next year! I’ll be having way more fun though knowing my brakes aren’t always on the edge of disaster. This is going to be so much cheaper to track.

He bought an Si. He doesn’t even know the difference between 91 and 93 octane recommended. He cares about the magazine numbers. Try to give the kid a break.

I specifically stated 93. Now go away.

87 minimum. 91 recommended.

91 octane recommended, 87 minimum in the Si, not 93. (Per your links.) See ya, kid.

I just sold a 991.1 for the BRZ, so I really don’t need a lecture from someone like you. I’ve been tracking for years and have been cleared to be an instructor.

We’ll find out this year at Road America. I’m confident I’ll put up better lap times than my Focus ST. Weight and brakes on a high HP track will pick you up a lot of time.
