They’re great and all until they spin in place and you have to drill them out and redo them. Dont buy a Delorean, ever.
You see... shit like this is exactly why Tesla fans are as strident as they are.
If you’re arguing for arguments sake...OK....see the video below and skip to 55 seconds in. If you’re arguing because you think you’re proving a point about Tesla...I don’t really care about Tesla one way or another. This crap can be staged and nothing about this fella inspires the feelings of integrity or honesty.…
If it’s a ‘21, it’s two small covers and two little bolts.
If it’s a ‘20, it’s just a small spring loaded release on each side.
I can hop into a 2021 Escalade on our showroom right now, pop out the driver’s airbag module and film a TikTok before a sales person has time to say “Let me speak with my manager”.
Now, the real issue is none of this changes that the airbag came off in our less-than-forthright friend’s hand.
Serious, non Tesla Stan question.
given that it was a hoax staged for clicks, does it also not seem likely that the airbag coming off was a setup (i.e. he removed the clips so he could make the video) precisely to drive clicks?

From what I understand, it operates the same way except it doesn’t make a chime when cruise is engaged with the first click of the stalk. It did chime after the second click of the stalk to engage AP. The big “safety recall” that the media is flipping out about is to push a software version that adds the chime. That’s…
Anything useful and functional would have been stripped out in 94, they were likely just selling the hull and some of the internal bits, but nothing that would have made it go or helped with operations.
The 4th amendment says:
I find it absolutely baffling that Honda would create this ‘hatchback’ along with a nearly identical sedan. Considering how sedan-like this ‘hatchback’ is, Honda would have gotten away with just creating the hatchback as the only model. Hatch-haters still would have bought the ‘hatchback’ version thinking it were just…
Didn’t this happen to these guys too?
Lucid needs to stop making its case and start making more cars. Its presence in the market is so tenuous I’m barely cognizant of it as a manufacturer. I thought they were still in the It’s All Prototypes But Any Minute Now stage. Like Lordstown but with a slightly weaker whiff of BS.
Pretty sure when execs try to move any stocks around they have to do it publicly and months in advance so people dont make up news like what we see today. I dont know whats legally required by the SEC, but this stuff is pretty well managed. Anyone moving stock around in secret is like insta-flagged by the SEC.
