Not a Tolkien nerd here at all. I never read the books but loved the movie trilogy. ROP is definitely beautiful and really brings the Tolkienverse to life, but the show is boring and hell and terribly written.

Forbes did a pretty good analysis on these figures . It essentially comes down to them being skewed by two episodes airing back to back of the rings of power and thus doubling their ratings and HBO’s House of the Dragon being aired on cable first rather than being a streaming only show . As they put it this is like…
And She-Hulk is actually fun and enjoyable, I just found RoP a chore to watch with very few of the actors seeming to actually be interested in their characters

So that’s what was happening! Yesterday I saw guys walk up to the Lordstown Endurance and start measuring its windshield wipers. They seemed content.
My takeaways from this are as follows:
California is going to start looking like Cuba after 2035, lol.
The simple answer is, if you’re a renter you’re going to be driving a ICE or hybrid until you’re not a renter.
This lawsuit seems hyperbolilc. Based on Zendesk’s own privacy policy (https://www.zendesk.com/company/privacy-and-data-protection/), they do not share or sell end-user data, only anyonymized and aggregated data (which has its own privacy problems, but is industry standard).
Okay, please show your work on this one. Please show me sources on Zendesk not using encryption and bragging about selling data (especially non-anonymized PII). Happy to take an L on this one if you can back up your assertions.
Cool, you also don’t know what Zendesk is. Of course it receives the data, it couldn’t possibly work otherwise. What’s your argument here? Every company should make their own first party tooling for ticketing?
That final quote from the lawsuit is dumb as hell. Zendesk isn’t some scary piece of software. It’s probably the most common customer service ticketing software and not particularly shady.
Living in China seems like it really sucks so I’m not sure that’s an aspirational lifestyle.
“We wouldn’t do the product that Cadillac is showing [Lyriq]. We wouldn’t do it. Nothing against them, it just doesn’t fit our brand. It’s not far enough. We want a car that gets recalled at least 50 or 60 times. And BAD recalls, like fire and failed braking and roofs that collapse and stuff like that. We’re Ford…
No one is talking about all the 10 year old 250k+ mi Teslas that haven’t lost much range at all (not many other options to compare yet)? No one is talking about how the cooling system in the Leaf is garbage and that’s why they have lost a ton of life compared to other models that have not had the same issues? Odds are…
They made a video where they put cones on each side so the car couldn’t change course, and had the driver press down on the accelerator, causing a warning that AEB won’t work. Then they made the video too low resolution to read screen, but it’s easy to determine that the message is there.
Y’all have predicted 12 of the 0 sub prime auto crisis over the past 7 or so years. Seriously, here’s an article I found, from all the way back in 2015: https://jalopnik.com/equifax-denies-sub-prime-loan-bubble-says-loans-improv-1686526590
What a load of one sided bullshit. This site is a joke any more
I can’t imagine liking anything about any of this; figuratively or literally.
Damn Amber playing you gullible idiots lmao.
