All he is is a random person with training and budget, not in any way selected for skill, so I’d expect if you grabbed 20 random 5 year old kart drivers and gave them the access he’s had, half or probably more would beat him.

The only thing you missed is that the market is somewhat detached from reality. These shouldn’t be worth anywhere near that, but apparently there is a strong following of wealthy people who do not care that their car looks like it wants to have them as a snack.

The same car at the same price with a blown engine is a cautious nice price. A japanese EJ20 or a built EJ25 or any number of other possibilities (including a transmission swap) would be something you could do in your garage more easily than fix that front end body damage.

I am slightly disappointed that the “No Dice” option for the “TLC-Needing” Land Cruiser didn’t incorporate the phrase “No Scrubs”
