If only...
If only...
Chicken? Egg?
Takes a bit of both to try, I’d wager. Probably a good thing for the rest of us haha
I learned a new word today!
1. Everyone with “sense” has left.
Hopefully, but unlikely. Most of them are white.
They're doing both, sadly.
I heard tell that a certain Mr. Buffett once had an encounter with one after blowing out his flip flop. Sounded unpleasant, truth be told. Something like that would make me want a strong, perhaps tropical, drink.
I grew up in bumblefuck South Carolina. I don’t know that I ever saw pull-tab sodas, but I definitely saw leaded gas. Advertised proudly, like an idiotic badge of *courage* or some shit.
That last sentence is by far the most important. And the most correct.
Good points. I probably misread the article to be implying the system was only on two routes, and both were borked, rather than “two of X total routes were borked."
I am blown away that leaded gas was still being sold when I first got my license.
Agreed. Something ugly and idiotic can make an impression just as easily as something beautiful. Sometimes even easier haha.
Fair enough. I guess my issue is when the reporting of “just the accident” is done in a way that leads the reader toward a particular interpretation.
Oh, big same. I always say “better than bad does not necessarily mean good.”
I didn’t see one at all until pretty late this summer. I suspect it is because I live in a very, very blue area that basically stopped buying Teslas once Elmo took the mask off a few years back.
Sadly, as long as one outlet is willing to run a story before the facts can be sorted out, it will always be a race to get *something* out fast, regardless of veracity...
This is by no means an endorsement of using AIs to write tickets (I find the idea laughable and stupid in 2024) but...
Oh, believe me, I’m working on it. I had been working on it for years before the whole "give it to the kid" thing came up. Though to be fair, my nephew is a *brilliant* kid. Wins chess tournaments against people twice his age, etc. I’m sure he *could* maintain it, but at what cost?
That... Almost works? It’s certainly the least-hideous Cybertruck I’ve seen to date, which both is and is not saying something.
