The first graduation I ever attended was when an older cousin graduated from Hampton. The key note speaker - Dr. Bill Cosby.

Hits From the Streets, the karmic vengeance from that show is one of many reasons why BET is doing bad now.

I miss pre-dawns, 10:40 breaks, Eagle Landing, the Marching Sound Machine, and Honda Campus All-Star Challenge (back before they change the rules and fucked up the game).

The freedom that comes from being young and immersed in that kind of blackness is sweet and fleeting.

for the blk folk

Yeah, there are. Weirdly enough when I was in school, aside from a couple international students, they were all white men. White women seemed to stay well away.

I hated dealing with the administration when I was an undergrad. Then I went to a PWI for grad school and realized that, no, it wasn’t a Black school thing. ALL school administrations are ass.

I remember the night Obama got elected! The entire school body spontaneously rushed out; we blocked traffic on Fayetteville St. It seriously felt like we all could accomplish anything when Barack got elected.

NCCU Homecoming October 28th - Much talking out the sides of necks will be had!!

Seeing tv episodes like this is always weird for me because I don’t quite get the urge to relive youth. When I left my home town after high school, I basically resolved to never have anything to do with anybody I went to school with. Even when I moved back in with my mom for a year after grad school, I purposely

I’d have probably started off as one of the guys in the “I’m with Kap in spirit, but I’m not trying to f-up this lick until I can buy a couple of Bojangles franchises,” camp.

There is no universal acceptance of restrictions on gun ownership - if there were, the subject wouldn’t be as controversial as it is. The NRA doesn’t have uniform standards for gun ownership- they have principles for gun SAFETY, which is an separate matter. It’s irresponsible and dishonest to conflate the two issues.

Firearms restrictions are clearly not “universally accepted and agreed upon”. If they were, states wouldn’t have varying standards for who can own a firearm, and you wouldn’t have people advocating for the relaxing of gun restrictions (i.e. the University of Georgia’s recent decision to allow campus carry).

It’s like you reached into my head and made a list of “Rappers I really wish I enjoyed more than I do”.

I’m not anti-gun or anything but, seriously, how are is your having a gun really going help you if the government really is doing all of this Deep State stuff?

Enormous restrictions? My guy, I’m from South Carolina - I live in Georgia, and used to live in North Carolina. The barriers to getting a legal gun in these states are less “restrictions” and more “minor inconveniences”.

Bruh, it’s never going to happen.

How is A&T always ranked above Central? They can’t even bowl good!

I couldn’t help but be afraid that Barda would literally break me in half. And I’m waaaayyyy too paranoid to deal with Mystique - she crazy.

How dare you blaspheme the good name of grits and gravy! YOU AINT GANG!!!
