For as much as Courtney was a punchline back in the day, I always felt kind of bad watching them try so hard to perform “ultra sexy femme” that it was a caricature. For one so young, it was clear that there had been coaching and grooming involved: they were marketed.

I hope they are finding agency and power in their

I can’t believe the title of this article is a quote of Stodden asking people not to use she/her pronouns for them and the top comments that show up first are still misgendering and all about how this is because of trauma. And my comments trying to correct those commenters still just don’t show up because I’m gray,

You might want to fix the blurb about Colton Haynes.  The link is about Colton Underwood from The Bachelor.

Gay men can be controlling and abusive to women. And it’s not uncommon for closeted gay men who hate themselves to take out their frustrations on female partners. It’s not like gayness is a magical forcefield protecting them from the same cultural misogyny and toxic masculinity straight men are socialized with.

You couldn’t find a better picture than one of a lab in which they’re preparing to test things in rabbit’s eyes?  Because that’s what that is.

I’m just waiting for him to say how he’s going to “disrupt” governing so I can throw up on my keyboard.

Their solutions are always things that seem reasonable to people who know a little bit about a topic and were long ago dismissed by people who know a lot about the topic.

Wait a minute...so the officer accidentally grabbed wrong weapon, accidentally UNHOLSTERED the wrong weapon, accidentally removed safety, accidentally AIMED A WEAPON and didn’t feel in the hand it was a gun...gun which is A LOT heavier than a taser, especially if fully loaded.

Yes. I think his presidential campaign was a troll, I think his current mayoral run is a troll, I think those tweets are are a troll. I don’t think he’s a serious human being at all. I think he’s a wanna be tech bro who thinks he’s going to “synergize” his way into office and wing it from there. He’s never held public

I see this kind of take a lot and I’m just done with it.

Yeah. There was that one commenter that basically said she was a shitty person for trying to break the contract because she didn’t want to work with a sexual predator. And accused her of being emotionally manipulative and a stain on feminism because she cried during the process.

Hey, there’s a reason Laura Ashley was so popular for so long. It’s just never done anything for me personally.

I think you mean

I hate to wade into this because it’s so so dumb, but in that pictured tweet at the top of the page, the archive account that tweeted the first message said she “pulled [it] off better than anyone else”, which is or could be construed as throwing shade at other people who wore it, right? And if Selena famously wore

And lemon zest! A lemon left unzested is a wasted lemon. Put some in hot water for a refreshing drink. Possibilities are endless..... And maybe dukkah with just a hint of salt.

I have the opposite problem. I’m celiac, and the only GF restaurant in town is also almost entirely vegan. Like, i guess they have to do it, since they can’t sustain a business on just the GF customers, but honestly, GF baked goods need to have eggs in them in order to taste right. There are in fact tons of cottage GF

I’ve discussed my eating disorders with my sister. I struggled (and worked with a remote therapist) during Covid, really in the worst way since college. So I decided to be open with people about my boundaries not discussing my weight, dieting, etc.

Also it’s not like because one day I have a couple donuts that I’m going to do that every day or every week. Sometimes I have donuts. Sometimes I go months without even thinking about donuts. I find the less I deny myself or stress about it the less I’m constantly craving sugary foods.

Obsession with eating healthy is, in fact, an eating disorder. Orthorexia.

“Carnivores like Hogan are compelled to tell others: “To go around right now feeling so good, feeling like I have found the secret of life and not share it with people?” Hogan continues. “That feels just selfish.””
