That’s what I get from it. I mean, I know we have a problem understanding the word “literally” now, but he didn’t say “It’s literally slavery”. If you fail to see the point, that’s fine, but it’s weird to see this comment section questioning him making it.

Did he even have more than one special? I know him more from everything else he’s done. Watching his evolution has been really interesting.

He made videos that spoofed Elder Scrolls games. There are characters that have black eyes in them.

I hate tank controls. They’re garbage.

BUT... They do simulate a nightmare-like feeling of “I should be able to do this easily, but I can’t, and it doesn’t make sense, and oh no I’m dead.” Which is a unique feeling to have in a game. I see the appeal on a few different levels, aside from just nostalgia.

All executives should take massive pay cuts. Kotick’s previous yearly salary would be enough for one person to live quite comfortably for the rest of their lives. That’s fucking ridiculous, and I’m not even against leadership being paid a good deal more than everyone else in theory.

When people are like “Why would you defund police?” I’m still a little surprised. In my experience, police are only of any use when there’s already blood on the floor. You call the police as a precaution against the police.

Obviously someone who is self-centered enough to end someones life because of hurt feelings is not going to be thinking of their childs well-being.

I figured that was why (because the first question some knucklehead would ask is “Who?”) and didn’t ascribe some greater moral lapse to it, but yeah: probably not the best idea.  Especially considering his wife participated in the videos. It’s definitely grim.

Exactly my feeling. After playing through SO3 and being disappointed the entire time, that ending was just too much. It ruined the series for me. (I own The Last Hope and can’t bear to play it. I already know it means nothing and nothing matters.)

Also same as far as this new game is concerned. It looks very pretty,

The cops probably took him out for dinner and drinks before dropping him off at home to plan his escape with his parents.  Just… wow.

Two things leaped out to me here because I have a chip on my shoulder about them:

Super Metroid is all about that mood. It’s so  base heavy and rhythmic. It’s not a soundtrack I’d listen to on the train*, but it definitely feels good while playing. Metroid Prime did a pretty good job of replicating that feeling for the most part.

This is good news, but I can’t help but cringe when I see these pharmaceutical companies coming up with new 50% effective medicines that they have sole possession of and can sell for whatever they like. Who gets this pill? When? For how much?

There are two actors you do not come to with this Ol’ bullshit. Denzel and Sam Jackson. And the fact they don’t tap dance and shuffle around with people is not a reason to be “shaken”, especially if one is a “journalist” asking what one knows is a bullshit question.

I get what they were trying to do, and it’s cute, but the execution is really poor.

I know it’s an iconic album cover, truly a classic, but can they not just produce a new version of the same image? They can use a painting or cg as an homage to the original. Or a new baby that doesn’t have mental health issues after living a life of being famous and having nothing to show for it.

Jesus Christ, really?! That’s a f***ing disgrace.  Especially since people have been using cash much less. I assumed delivery people would appreciate not having to handle filthy bills.  Do you have any links to that story?

LOL, what the... this is the weirdest thing! “Awful bold”!? “Presume”?! Please tell me more about yourself immediately.

Absolutely. This needs to play all the way out in public.

That’s… a great representation of incarceration and the incarcerated /s.
