LOL! Matt Christmann hipped me to the Smashmouth Eco-terrorist ethos.

If anyone has an alternative for this bullshit, I’d be interested. I love putting real thought into political comments and being completely invisible. (Somehow my goofy two sentence shitposts seem to break though.)

Did he even have more than one special? I know him more from everything else he’s done. Watching his evolution has been really interesting.

Well, I mean, that’s what the scientists are worried about too. There’s no situation we couldn’t work through if we were united as a species. We’re the most adaptable species in existence. We could survive anything.

Sorry, but that’s wildly optimistic. You underestimate the power of information isolation, and human fear of change.

You just have to be a white dude that’s friends with the right people. Duh. How is that not transparent enough for these snow-cialists!? /s

It’s a delicate balance of seriousness and being self-aware that few filmakers can accomplish. And even those who can, can’t do it consistently. Examples are Sam Raimi, John Carpenter... James Gunn and Taika Waititi maybe? I’m sure there’s more.

Yeah it USED to be a funny joke, until you realize it’s a legitimate business plan not at all exclusive to mad scientists in video games.

He made videos that spoofed Elder Scrolls games. There are characters that have black eyes in them.

Let me ask this: do you want articles on Gizmodo to be exhaustive studies on social engineering, resource management, infrastructure, transportation, and agriculture? Because I guarantee they don’t get paid enough to write that up for you.

Yeah, considering that their employees could live quite comfortably if the executives gave up a fraction of their personal wealth, I doubt they have that philanthropic spirit weirdos want to attribute to them.

Best thing about article is reading the impeccably gross comments: “Well, I had to live with more people in a smaller space.” “Seems like it’s up to code, at least there’s plenty of stairs.”

I hate tank controls. They’re garbage.

BUT... They do simulate a nightmare-like feeling of “I should be able to do this easily, but I can’t, and it doesn’t make sense, and oh no I’m dead.” Which is a unique feeling to have in a game. I see the appeal on a few different levels, aside from just nostalgia.

All executives should take massive pay cuts. Kotick’s previous yearly salary would be enough for one person to live quite comfortably for the rest of their lives. That’s fucking ridiculous, and I’m not even against leadership being paid a good deal more than everyone else in theory.

When people are like “Why would you defund police?” I’m still a little surprised. In my experience, police are only of any use when there’s already blood on the floor. You call the police as a precaution against the police.

I realize that complaining about articles mentioning race and class is some peoples favorite passtime, but if you are always complaining, aren’t you the one with the problem?

Obviously someone who is self-centered enough to end someones life because of hurt feelings is not going to be thinking of their childs well-being.

I figured that was why (because the first question some knucklehead would ask is “Who?”) and didn’t ascribe some greater moral lapse to it, but yeah: probably not the best idea.  Especially considering his wife participated in the videos. It’s definitely grim.

Exactly my feeling. After playing through SO3 and being disappointed the entire time, that ending was just too much. It ruined the series for me. (I own The Last Hope and can’t bear to play it. I already know it means nothing and nothing matters.)

Also same as far as this new game is concerned. It looks very pretty,

Please stop dragging Harrison Ford out of his tomb and forcing him to fake punch people. Why make an entire nation uncomfortable like this?
