“I hated the last gen CTR, it was too gaudy and over the top”

Probably going to be an Explorer ST built in the South Side of Chicago

Always thought this would be a great course. Make the turns wider, of course

Came here to say this. I’m sure the process above is amazing, but I can prep a week’s worth of beef in the morning before I leave for work with this process.

The logistical nightmare to get to the race is already giving me anxiety. My folks live next to the airport (bigger one), and I can already see the L and 90/94 being more congested than my sinuses in the spring

soul of a true sports car.

If only there was an oval in the area they could run a Cup event on.

Oh, a productive contribution to the thread! Very cool!

Oh jeeze. When will you all learn.

well this is awkward

All three of you in this thread sound like you’d be fun at parties

Before I get too old and start having kids, I want to get in the infield of some races like the Indy 500, Daytona 500, Talladega, and maybe a 24hr race or two. Camp 4-5 days and go on a little bender. I don’t plan on having kids any time soon, but I’m not getting any younger.

I’d even be cool with the auto, but that 4 speed slush box is a real downer

So the entire rear area is unusable? That’s dumb. Can’t open the trunk or lift the hard cover? That’s a ton of unused cargo space. ND for that alone.

Most of us here can distinguish the difference between the two. But when will automakers learn that most of their customers are stupid? These are the same people not knowing the difference between the Bronco and the Bronco Sport.

Then there’s Guy Martin’s 3.5Ecoboost
