The half that’s men doesn’t do this to the other half that’s women. Every woman isn’t a victim of this any more than half the men are responsible.

Any given person will always experience things differently, and their perception tainted with their own bias. Often what gets painted as sexism tends to just be how the two gender groups communicate and forcing things into one perspective.

It applies to the entire population, it’s called “being condescending.”

Yeah from what I can find there is apparently no story behind the name. It began in Edmonton of all places in the 70s by a Greek immigrant, and was originally named Boston Pizza and Spaghetti House.

It’s not even necessarily about being self-conscious. I’m not balding, but just like hats. It IS something that makes me feel more comfortable, but wouldn’t everyone have that with however they choose to dress leaving the house?

If no one really cared, then no one would care about a hat either, or assume that anyone wearing a hat is covering something up. A lot of people wear hats regardless of hair status.

That would definitively be theft.

Not “Boston-style pizza”, it’s just Boston Pizza. It’s a Canadian restaurant chain, in the same type of mold of a Pizza Hut family dine-in restaurant.

It’s a presumption either way, but just removing yourself from a situation doesn’t repair any damage, simply stops it from accumulating.

Bullshit is bullshit, regardless which side it supports. There’s fake news across the spectrum and you’re implying Snopes is actually entirely correct on everything and any such criticism is only “conservative attacks.”

Even goes the other way as well. I was the small, skinny kid, that was terrified of shirts vs skins in gym, and never took my shirt off when swimming past around aged 12 because I was so self-conscious. It wasn’t that I didn’t like sports, I just felt like the ‘puny weakling’.

You sound like a delight.

It changes the dynamic though when it’s family. The article was about friends.

Sounds like you need some therapy.

Oh hell, that all bacon or heavy bacon diet. The only people I’ve known into that kind of thing are also people who seemingly refuse to actually go to a gym or involve in any real physical activity.

That’s just an elaborate, pretentious way of saying “yeah but still.”

Except the article above dealt with wording questions such that you can avoid or minimize the risk of offense or awkwardness before you have the ability to take a hint.

Really? A messy kitchen is a concern?

I just don’t put sensitive photos on my phone, and if I had to, I wouldn’t put them in the main photo app alongside stuff I’d be likely to show people.

The irony I’m sure is lost on you.
