Maybe it's an age thing? I'm not big on the idea that I'd have to play a game on a phone-sized screen instead of a 50" TV, unless there's a benefit to it (like multi-tasking within the console, ie Netflix + Wii game on Wii U contoller).

I don't get those thrilled about it. You have to sit there holding the Wii U controller in your left hand while using a Wiimote with your right? What if the game needs the nunchuk or to be held sideways? You have to prop the tablet up on a table? Why would you do this?

Now playing

Of a lot of good scenes, this one was my favorite. Possibly because after first-hand experience with my girlfriend's 13 year old, it's uncanny how much I can relate to Garafolo.

For me there's the ability to lend or hand down games as well.

When I got a PC in early 2000, it only had a 20GB hard drive, but I thought that was huge. How would I ever fill it?

That's what I thought, but most of the people on here it seems just counter that with "so what I added an external drive of my own" or something.

It's a problem with a lot of issues and discussions the past few years. Something gets over inflated in one direction, so someone attempts to bring it back more to where it belongs, and it then gets assumed that you're attempting to over inflate it in the other direction.

Carolla was originally supposed to be on TGUS and was part of the pilot but it initially wasn't picked up, and he ended up on another pilot project. When TGUS eventually got picked up, he was no longer available and so had to pass.

"Guys get weird when women ask them out". It's bullshit stereotyping that avoids the uncomfortable truth.

Previously, it seemed to be the expectation that the guy knew how to change the tire, and the woman to "let him."

I wonder if it's something to do with the Northwest, given how similar Seahawks fans and Vancouver Canucks fans seem to be, at least to every other fan in the two leagues.

In response, Selig and the MLB will add another wild card to each league for the 2014 season, with a play-in for the play-in.

Remember this is a game released over 10 years ago (early 2003 in North America).

There's definitely an angle to this that feels like it's in contrast to other articles, comment sections or editorials that criticize the negative treatment of female gamers.

Sure, and you can go on about how we should all love each other as we set-up our utopian garden, but this is only a story because the person in question is transgender.

There's some differences there. In sprinting, the time is based on when the trunk of the runner passes the line. This right away differs in baseball where as the runner it's any part of your body making contact with the bag, be it your hand, foot, or back if you happened to tumble.

Except on a controller I'm able to use my index finger on ABXY buttons without removing my thumb from the stick in certain situations. I also don't have to worry about whether I'm tapping or swiping or holding. There is no chance of me accidentally meaning to aim up but instead jumping or reloading or switching

So in a FPS or GTA, for example, you'd be using the right track pad to both aim and as ABXY buttons?

Well... No game actually uses the right stick controls simultaneously with the ABXY. Do they alternate between them frequently? Yes.
