The problem with Hot Pursuit is that it wasn't open world at all, so it's hard to say it was better suited. (I haven't played Most Wanted.)

Xbox had that too with the camera but most people didn't have one, and by the time Kinect came out support for Paradise had ended. I can only imagine what they might've implemented had Move or Kinect been around in 2008.

It was a good attempt at something new. In keeping with the non-open world ones they peaked with Burnout 3 and then came out with Burnout Revenge, the worst one in the entire series.

I had at least 200 hours into Paradise (split 50/50 online/offline) and maxed out everything 100%. Loved that game, and the online challenges were a lot of fun and probably one of the best online communities I've ever seen (and a lot of people had mics).

Paradise just focused more on the racing. The crash (at intersections) aspect got played out anyway. Paradise had fantastic collisions and the online mode was fantastic.

"Traffic checking" was the worst thing in the entire Burnout catalogue.

It's just a shame that their last few racing games were mediocre NFS titles instead of one last Burnout hurrah. Paradise was fantastic and is now nearly 6 years old.

I haven't liked a Mario Kart since Double Dash. The DS one was just a "best of" and Wii was horrible. Some of the worst rubber band AI ever. At that point I feel like I have more control over a game if I was playing with actual dice.

If you're making plans to see your girlfriend every day that early in a relationship you're probably screwing yourself anyway.

Yeah my mistake. They mentioned bundle earlier in the post but I misunderstood "everything below for $14" as "everything below is $14 each."

Oh my bad. I thought by "Everything below for $14" it meant "each are $14". I missed the one mention of "bundle" earlier in that post.

Ha, well that's my point. Getting it on Steam now is cheaper than waiting for the Amazon sale, but the Moneysaver is recommending I wait and waste $1.25.

I've never had a metallic taste with beer from cans, but I've definitely gotten the taste out of those increasingly popular aluminum bottles.

Don't buy Tomb Raider from Steam today. Wait for the Amazon deal on the 17th.

I always loved the BF1942 Desert Combat mod. I actually preferred it to BF2.

People over look how and where you game with consoles and PC.

The biggest difference to me was textures. PSX in comparison was like every game had a "grit" filter, and the PS2 was silky smooth.

Edit: Had a long confusing post trying to find out something, so here's a short version.

You keep ignoring all the other points I was making, so yeah, we're done.

Actually I guess that's true, that they're re-releases more than remakes, though enhanced versions kind of fall in between, at least somewhat.
