Far more relevant to the current needs/desires of the MCU right now. Do we really need Spider-Man?! NO. Especially when it’s Peter Parker again.

If I never have to hear about Spider-Man again, it would be too soon. Crap already got Black Panther & Captain Marvel - far more relevant characters to the MCU - bumped. Do we need another movie already?! And we’re getting an animated one too?! Gawd.

I’ve been saying this forever - mutants work so much better in a world all by themselves with no other superpowered beings. That’s part of the reason why I don’t want Marvel Studios to get the rights back.

They can’t just change X-Men to Inhumans and automatically get rights to them. That’s not how contracts work - both Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are no longer mutants and yet Quicksilver is still appearing in X-Men Apocalypse.

Rebecca Ferguson, what an out of the choice.[/sarcasm]. With the exception of Ejiofor in Doctor Strange, Marvel movie casting has been so expected. Such a shame with such great, diverse talent out there.

The chemistry he and Stone as Gwen had made me like the movies way more than I probably should have. They both blew McGuire and Dunst out of the water on that front.

If Roberty Downey Jr. can play Iron Man at 50 than surely Wesley Snipes can play Blade at 52.

Well, it doesn’t help that Trank himself was supposedly a mess on the set which is why Fox stepped in. If I remember correctly, producers Hutch Parker and Simon Kinberg had to step in and get the movie done themseleves. There’s a reason he got pullled off of the Star Wars movie - Kinberg is producing those, you don’t

The mechanism he talks about is clearly inter-dimensional travel since that’s one of the main plot points of the new Fantastic Four movie. That gives them the freedom to keep each of those franchise in seperate universes while still keeping the door open for a crossover.

Jennifer Lawrence explained pretty well why Mystique isn’t running around in her blue form all over this movie. She’s recognizable across the world being that she was on national television trying to assassinate Trask then saving the president. She’s been branded as the “face” of mutant liberation and Mystique doesn’t

How are they hardly out of high school? The youngest person in this cast is Jordan and he’s 25. Mara is the oldest at 32 - is that not old enough?

That actually sounds wonderful! Why is it considered pandering? You do know white men aren’t the end all, be all. There’s other people out in the world too.

I don’t see how those two things are contradictory? The Dark Knight series was certainly more grounded and yet all three of those are pretty epic in scale. Same for Man of Steel, not that I’m a particular fan of that movie.

    NOOOOOOO!

It’s Negasonic Teenage Warhead. She was one of Emma Frost’s telepathic students on Genosha. She was the only one that predicated the Sentinel attack.

It’s based off of a James Patterson novel - there’s a spike in mammal attacks on humans across the world and two ecologists try to find out why.

Well Bey already pretty much played Misty Knight in Austin Powers. lol

Except Deadpool has an EXCELLENT script and Fox already had one R-rated comicbook winner this year with Kingsman: The Secret Service. They’re using that same format with Deadpool - keep the budget low, let the actors and directors to their thing and stay out of it.

....Singer has never said this was his last X-movie.

They do share the merch rights but it’s not at 50/50 split. Marvel owns the majority of the merch rights, Fox only gets a fraction of the revenue. So even still, Marvel is still losing out on a good chunk of change. It’s stupid.
