thank you for sharing this, it really is helpful! those ambiguous-date-like-situations have come up a few times the past couple of weeks, and I think you're right that I should probably just be honest and draw a line with the guy.

i don't really have advice, but solidarity to you guys! i just moved over the summer from Long Island to the midwest for grad school, and even though i have a built-in social circle with school, it's still a big shock.
