"Many fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons probably can't imagine the series without Shredder as the main villain."

well, it DID take him 25 years to design it.

Thanks for the update on the streaming option. When I first checked last year (right after I dropped netflix) they had a streaming option, but didn't support it on OSX; but like you said they did away with that, so no comparison really.

Great write-up and a lovely read.

This individual's opinion might have counted for something if he/she at least like the movie. Well, I supposed there's always the Avatar sequels to look forward to for the masses...

F Eleven .......

face down, ass up!

i don't see any of the avengers in sight! what are we to do?

obligatory...

throw in some popcorn and a drink and you're just under $40.

Bladerunner sequel with original screenwriter - ok nice.

Very valid point, but I gotta say, waiting for the post credit teasers in each of the Marvel movies, really helped build anticipation. I personally have never been a fan of any of the superheros in Avengers, aside from Spidey and Wolverine (but they don't count in this case obviously), yet I was pretty anxious to see

Not saying that they shouldn't pursue a JLA movie, but since they've done absolutely nothing so far to help set it up, I think a smart option would be to make a BM/SM movie as say the first team up, and then move forward from that.

"When he does a push-up, is he pushing himself up, or pushing the earth down?"

I blame Don Cheadle. Entirely.

Considering the fact that Green Lantern was such giant pile of puke, I think the smart thing for DC/Warner-Bros to do would be to put together a Batman/Superman movie that I'm sure we ALL thought was coming after watching I Am Legend.

Well, it's definitely not the best movie ever made, but it was a fun popcorn flick that had more substance, humor and composition than any movie that say Michael Bay ever released. This may not be a Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy type of movie, but it's not supposed to be.

"The only dialogue is ridiculously cheeseball" ....

You know, I consider myself to be a pretty harsh critic of most movies, especially superhero flicks, but you know, it was a pretty decent and overall enjoyable outing.

I was kinda thinking the same... I doubt Prometheus is going to be as bad as say, Wolverine, Spidey 3 or any of the TF movies though.
