to be quite honest, most people don't have a clue about any of the OS versions anyway, whether they're numbered or named. they just want their phone to work well, or they want to look cool by having the newest thing that popped out of the apple/androind/windows womb so they can look cooler than you.

I second this. I can understand why google is letting Samsung make their flagship phones now, but in all honesty, I won't be buying one. HTC seem to have a better build quality...

i'm actually considering jumping ship to iphone's once my contract with t-mo runs out. besides, they managed to piss me off a few weeks ago, after 8 loyal years of service to them. so unless t-mo has some bad-ass htc phone in stock come march, i may not stick with android. samsuck phones just don't do it for me.

well. that makes 3 of us. i'll wait to actually hold a galaxy nexus in my hand before i pass full judgement, but the fact that the case is still made out of flimsy plastic still bugs the hell out of me.
