I'd argue that the C7 is a lot more than just 80% of the performance of the Viper. Think about it, the new viper with the track pack couldn't beat the C6 Z06 with a track pack.

I think these things are undervalued right now. They're so cool looking (better than the MKIV Supra IMO) and the size of them is perfect.... too bad they were burdened with that "cool in theory" engine.
Thanks for pointing that out. I know it was the only 8 series to get a manual transmission, but I personally think the 840 was the better car to have and it was hardly slower than the V12 counterpart.
