A $110,000 Jeep wrangler is basically the equivalent of driving the “men will spend anything to avoid going to therapy” meme to work.

I can’t imagine having $110,000 (+ tax) to spend on a vehicle and choosing this. Nobody who buys this is going to press it into any real off-road duty. Instead, it will be gussied up with another $20,000 of accessories and recovery gear for buying toilet paper and protein powder in bulk from Costco. I can appreciate

Unfortunately cars have become more and more politicized over the years. It tends to come full circle.

Beyond Jeep’s ad with Harrison Ford (the only good thing they’ve done in a LONG WHILE), maybe Jeep needs to go away for good. WTF is this 392 Wrangler supposed to do or who is it for? A complete waste of resources and you can set your watch to the fact that as soon as Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep release some ridiculous V8 BS,

I have a friend who owned a 392 Wrangler.  As he said, it was the best and the worst vehicle he’s ever owned (and he’s had A LOT).  It was an absolute beast off road, but the transfer case is hot garbage and isnt designed to handle the power of the 392.  He had multiple issues with it.  It grenaded on him twice

I really don’t fucking get it.

A $110,000 Wrangler?

Any progressive administration right now and sure, Id see huge advancements the next four years that the previous four were setting up.  NOW?  The entire movement will be set back decades, at least in this country.  Every other developed nation is going to fly past us.

You’re going to shit your pants when you learn what rental cars are.

Gassing up is active. You have to stop, get out in the lousy weather, pump it and pay for it. Charging is passive. I plug it in in my warm garage when I get home and go on with my life.

If the problem is mainly long commutes, why not just charge at home? You’ll never have to stop to refill/recharge. That’d be worth the cost of a fast charger installation, wouldn’t it?

My Miata only gets ~180 miles to a tank.

“Nissan’s Pride Killed Its Merger With Honda.”

Somebody (here?) said it: Nissan used to be a 7, now they're a 4, but they think they're a 9. They need to just die a natural death and maybe Honda can pick up a few plants for cheap.

In the last several years our beloved MAGA world has moved from virology and epidemiology experts to gender affirming care experts (with sub-specialties in genetics and endocrinology), and now they’re global trade experts.

Ford boss Jim Farley — and every single reputable economist on the planet — warned that instead of boosting American industry, the new tariffs would actually bring cost and chaos

Like most of the garbage Trump spouts, he has no plan or idea how any of it will actually work, much less how to implement. He just likes talking big, hoping people don’t realize he is so fucking stupid he should probably legally be required to wear a helmet in public. As for your second point, it won’t literally

Trump is stuck in 1979. As soon as people realize that, the quicker we can get on with our lives.

I was reading about WHY American Aluminum is more expensive than Canadian Aluminum. It all comes down to energy costs. The ore to make Aluminum is cheap and the vast majority of the cost to make it is all the electricity needed to refine it. Canada has a lot of cheap electricity because of dams, windmills and nukes.

I have owned Nissans and Hondas. Honda is superior. Nissan is being foolish.
