I just want to add, that the section on DOT and EPA has to be read in the context of the whole Project 2025, and it starts to make a lot of sense. Not a good sense, but at least you get the full picture of their guideline. It’s really pretty boring, sometimes pretty badly written 900 pages, but it’s worth reading.

But then you’d get JD Vance- the guy who thought Handmaiden’s Tale was a how-to manual.

That fat fucker hopefully will have a fatal heart attack before he ever takes office. And when it comes to project 2025? Fuck it. I will outright refuse to adhere to ANYTHING it says we have to do.

“work to remove regulatory barriers” to the operation of AVs

a boy can dream

Apparently all of the people cheering on the actions of Luigi think there’s room for change...

so we should only be told about things we can actually change... that’s news to me!!

“compel Americans to accept costly EVs”

Respectfully, ahem, here:

You’re not kidding. My band plays for some old-car shows in the summer, and those things really stink up the place, quite literally.

I got a used copy of Project 2025, but someone had already completed the word jumble!*

We’re all going to be eating a giant shit sandwich on pretty much every issue for the foreseeable future thanks to all the shit for brains who voted for Trump because he promised them he would magically lower the cost of everything they buy. A promise that he’s already distancing himself from is his interview for

Just convince Donnie there aren’t any centerfolds in that pop-up book and he’ll ignore it.

Fairly certain he’s already an orange zombie so don’t hold your breath for that pine box.

when Trump’s term ends in January 2029.

I’ve said this before but I wish I could transport conservatives back to their vaunted golden age of unrestricted emissions and giant v-8s and see how long it takes before they choke on the fumes.

Right now it’s far too early in the ballgame to tell how this is all going to shake out

Ariya doesn’t look like the Rogue.  Prologue is successful because it looks like the appliance it is.

Say it with me: full autonomy not possible except maybe on highways. Too many variables in urban/suburban setting for cameras to ID, then algorithms to assess real-time, then make the correct decision every time. I guess if society is willing to kill a non-trivial number of people to bring about “autonomy”, then put

The Prologue is an interesting exercise in brand reputation.  It is just a Blazer EV, but it outsells the Blazer EV almost 2-1.
