13 bystanders were taken to the hospital as a result of the mass shooting response team.

But the chutzpah is the officer will sue Amtrak for *his* PTSD and the union will push for him to get early retirement.

I’m not anti-cop, but yeah some meathead just cost taxpayers an Explorer.

I get yelled at for proposing roughly this same theory all the time: You want better policing? Cut the police force in half, leave the payroll the same. See who shows up for the job. 

Police departments actually actively avoid people who are “too smart”. Many depts reject applicants with IQs deemed too high, believing they’ll become dissatisfied with the job and want to leave.

That thing is in amazing shape for the mileage, age and intended original purpose. NP for someone not scared of high mile german stuff.

To me the most surprising part of this story is that the driver hit 100 mph — then went off an overpass — then apparently walked away from the accident.

Everyone with a driver’s license and half a brain knows how deadly police pursuits can be.

Do people who run from the cops actually get away? If you can pull a tag number from the video, don’t they just go to the persons house and arrest them? They might get away that night but they eventually get caught, right?

Cops still don’t know how to use radios and that radio travels as fast as the speed of light. Even faster than their Socialism provided cruisers! Police chases are unnecessary and dangerous.
