I think a lot of airports have supplemental heating/cooling already. It seems like the issue isn’t that they don’t exist, but that they aren’t reliable (whether that’s because they are broken or the airport doesn’t have the people on the ground to move them around is it’s own question, but either way related to not

It’s fair to say that it’s been in the works for quite some time - surely it has. But Tesla has a huge interest in keeping the current tax incentives active and even moreso with this new model, so it has everything to do with getting on the good side of a political candidate that has for months been speaking of

Don’t you remember when Obama banned all guns during his second term? Wait, that didn’t happen?

The advertised lease deals vary. Chevy itself is advertising $369 with 3 grand down for 24 months. Not a bad deal for a $50k SUV, but a lot more than localized incentives that some people have been able to take advantage of. And again, if the tax credits go away so will those super-cheap lease deals.

Not sure when this news became news, and since Tesla doesn’t have a team to handle them, maybe it’s all a little vague. But as I’m reading it, the timing of a new tax-credit-eligible entry level vehicle coinciding with the story of the Musk “supporting” Orange Hitler backs the my comments on that article.

I was referring to PR for Tesla (you may have gotten that and were trying to spin it), but hadn’t even though about how it effects Trump’s PR. Typically companies and CEO’s of companies are more discrete about these things and try to keep bribe money - I mean campaign contributions- a little better covered up. But

At this point, I don’t know if Muskrat endorsing Trump even counts as the worst PR he’s had this month. But what I do know is that Trump’s shit talking to his walnut brained constituents about EVs being evil would seem to indicate an immediate backtrack on Biden’s EV push. And if the tax-credits get totally killed,

The low super low miles hopefully mean it was always a weekend car.

I think you do know. You (like most people) are just trying to think of a reason besides “roughly half of Americans are so racist and homophobic that they’ll ruin their own lives to fight against equality”. I, for one, wish I could come up with a better reason.

Well they did say “more than”

Tesla didn’t want to be outdone by Ford, I guess.

The way I understood the article-

I can’t believe I’m going to play devil’s advocate on Tesla’s behalf....but this doesn’t seem particularly out of line with how you’d expect most companies to run. If you work at Keurig and the (effectively) owner of the company came to you and showed you how their coffee maker broke plus a video of, I don’t know,

I had no idea what the market is, so I poked around autotrader a bit. This price seems to be around the entry point, but there’s some newer ones (by 3-5 years) around this price as well. Those may not be as well maintained, I’m not sure. So I guess the question is whether a having slightly newer one that was sold

For a murdered out SS you could just slowly drive down a street with lots of pedestrians and rev your engine constantly. For a ZL1, I think you’d checking for normal operation by driving the speed limit to dinner - no later than 530, need to beat the crowds. Certainly no need to be going 90, but they must be used to

I’m usually looking on my phone, whether it be facebook or craigslist or autotrader. I just want the picture to be oriented however it best shows the part of the car we’re trying to look at. Portrait photos may be the best option for that in some cases, like if you’re trying to show me the center stack (instead of

The seats....but why?

It’s certainly not the new EV I’d buy, and even more certainly not the used EV I’d buy. But to have it for 2 years on a wicked cheap lease? Hell yeah.

My wife’s 2012 is going strong at 200k, and her dad’s ‘11 is at 220k and starting to feel the effects of NY roads. Not a cent into either except for regular wear items. With how clean this is, another 100k miles should be easy to achieve. It’s a lot of money, but the ones I see listed around here in good condition

I suppose I could see some millionaire who loves their current 2005 XJR wanting to pick this up as a replacement. Otherwise I can’t see who’d pay $33k when $20k probably buys you a similarly nice one with a few more miles but a recent maintenance history.
