They were pretty good. At first I couldn’t understand why Damon was there and then it was clear pretty quickly that he had a fun personality. Matt and Chris were alright together as well. And I did like Rory. But a lot that they did during that era to try to “break the mold” wasn’t very successful.

If I was looking to spend $7-8k on a really really nice mid ‘00s Subaru wagon, and I came across this for $10k, I’d seriously consider it. But $15k is too much to not be a low mileage garage queen.

Holy hell, Rob. I thought you were showing us a 20k mile Forester for that money.

All insurance sucks, sure. But it does seem like a particularly bad idea to buy insurance from the maker of your *allegedly* self driving car and then try to file a claim when it self-drives into a barrier.

While it’s hard to compare to the version with the trio that put it on the map, I really have been enjoying the latest iteration with Harris/Flintoff/ McGuinness. It feels much more natural than the ones with Joey, though I didn’t mind Rory (I don’t think anyone liked Chris Evans). It felt like they had the spark that

There’s definitely a big premium tacked on for the manual trans, and they are definitely trying to get back some of the repair cost (which I want to see receipts on, if this has new tires/brakes/coolant/etc and needs zero maintenance work, that’s a big plus), but I’m with you - the tailgate is an issue at this price.

I guess I’m not entirely sure what it entails, but there are a lot of smaller planes and helicopters running scientists around on a daily bases across the bases and research stations. So maybe not so cushy. Probably better than being at JFK.

That was sort of my thought. Is the story true? Likely not. But then how did the car come to be? If it’s just a random custom build, it appears to be very well done. I hadn’t thought about the possibility of it being a kit car, though, and it could very well be a prototype or one of a couple that were built only for a

As much as I’d like to just see Exxon fold for all of the palm-greasing and propaganda the oil industry has pushed as petroleum demand falls, I also recognize that a lot of people made a lot of fuckin money and they wouldn’t care anyway.

ND for the mileage and the aftermarket springs.

The kicker (no pun intended) is really the clutch. Otherwise it seems sort of reasonable for the condition of the car. I don’t think it will sell for this without a fresh clutch, but perhaps the seller will come out ahead with a buyer that will do the work themselves rather than getting the clutch fixed a shop first an

I’d wager that someone from the Bill’s Mafia will take that off of West Herr’s hands for close to that $100k number.

yeah, for the $30k over my local dealer wants for one you can have this crate engine to do what you please!

When I was interviewing for a sales job that included a car stipend, I ended up down a rabbit hole of CPO Genesis and Cadillac models. The insane depreciation, solid warranties, and low-mileage off-lease selection was very hard to ignore when highway comfort is the priority.

They could make a slightly shorter one of these, like I think you were alluding to with the 2-door. And I guess they could make a more rugged one than the Z71 like a Trailboss. But you do get a choice of 2 V8s

Part of the consideration on the need for a truck is the option to just get a small trailer. It’s definitely a factor in how we approach my wife’s next vehicle in a year or so (I can’t put a hitch on my work vehicle)

I’m not sure it looks good, per se, but it’s unique as hell and definitely grabs your attention. Maybe they were just trying to sell headlights, but I’m betting this got plenty of people to come look that wouldn’t have normally.

This took my brain more than a few seconds to process.

Let me start off by saying that I don’t *need* a truck. But having one for projects, moving furniture and appliances, etc would be nice. But it would need to be future-proofed in case we want to put a camper top on it, or we want to tow a small trailer. I also live in the city, so a short truck would be nice. But the
