I think they look fine because they look purposeful. Many of the ones I see around of heavy-duties with long beds, and those do look proportionally pretty odd, but the short and regular beds I think look fine.

I think it’s ugly, but perhaps there are Monte Carlo fans out there that lust for that bubbled rear window. And it is in decent condition and pretty clean looking overall. I don’t know what the market is for these, but I’m thinking the price is a few grand too high (but if they fixed the AC they’d probably get it). ND

And Americans will continue to scream “Buy ‘Merican” but be anti-union (because unions are part of the liberal agenda) or buy vehicles built it Mexico by a “US” manufacturer.

I don’t know if they can’t build enough Mavs to keep up, or they intentionally don’t , but it would seem that they can’t handle additional volume and more variations (even if they are variations that have more margin) only slows things down more. But I’m with you, I want one.

My immediate thought was the G37 that cruises around here with an exhaust that pops on lift-off for a sound that I’d describe as “automatic weapon 5 ft from your ears”. It’s not only insanely loud, and sounds insanely stupid, but he also cruises back and forth like a dickbag. I wish I stumble across that car parked

I’m gonna say that the bald front tires and the look of that engine bay overshadow the desirable engine and new 4wd. ND for an old and beat Durango with tacky looks.

I mean, it seems like the one big differentiator between this and crap DeSantis was pulling is that one of them was clearly just a publicity stunt to rile people up.

I don’t understand how being of driving age matters if they aren’t legally allowed to drive. “Regular Access to the car” is pretty vague to begin with. What difference is a 16 year old or a 12 year old if neither have a license?

Haters gonna hate. I had a teal xB for a short time, and loved that car ESPECIALLY because people thought it was silly.

Yeah, as it turns out, 14 year olds dumb enough to break into cars just for joyrides are also dumb enough not to know which cars they can steal without breaking in first.

I spent a lot of time about a year ago looking at replacements for my FRS in the rough price range of what I’d sell it for. What I found was that for $12-15k you could get a slightly high mileage 2012-2014 3 series (a smaller engined one), a slightly high mileage 5 series in the same date range, or a slightly high

Fair, but I think 5k is enough where it could have been a couple years of driving it on the weekends since they were done. If they were in the last month or two, definitely agree that a hasty turn-around is a red flag.

Maybe in the south these are more prevalent still than here in the Northeast. Seeing a Neon of any age is super rare these days, and I get excited when I see an ACR or SRT-4. Any Neon I see on the road at this point I assume is owned by someone who has a compulsive love of making them very fast.

Seriously. There’s 3 lanes, drive as slow as you want in the furthest right lane. Why the fuck are you in the left lane, whith your lights off, in heavy snow, going 20 under? If you are trying to be careful, maybe start with the basics?

My theory, and I have a pretty good amount of evidence to support this:

The only thing worse is when people swing right to make a left turn. Bro, just turn the fucking round thing in front of you. I promise your civic will make it through this giant intersection without you coming into my lane.

I truly don’t understand how it isn’t drilled into everyone’s head that this is important. It’s not hard, usually not even if you have something in your hands. Maybe if you’re drinking coffee and driving stick, but generally you can manage and we know the percentage of manual cars on the road is basically 0.

Many (most?) drivers seem to take this situation as one thing at a time. They start to speed up, but when they get to the bottom of the downhill ramp they are only going 45 (which shouldn’t be a big deal, because there’s still a mile of ramp left). When they get to a sport where they can merge, they stop step 1

I have this issue almost every single day.
