Fair enough I guess. Thinking of Trump in his prime (well not prime, but further back) obviously shit like The Apprentice was scripted, to it may have given the false impression that he could string together logical sentences.

Yeah, my gut feeling is that you’d do $1000 worth of work to sell a $60k car as turn-key. Especially if you’ve already talked with a mechanic about what’s needed.

The colorado fixes some of the issues caused by the silverado’s weird headlights, but still has the appearance of an overly squared off front end to make it look more butch.

The real shame is that I’m not smart enough or rich enough to come up with something that fear mongering asshole can latch on to and get his hoards of followers to embrace.

I think it’s pretty clear to anyone with eyes and ears that he’s 90% senile, but the cult members don’t see that. But apparently there’s also enough people who CAN see that but are still going to vote for any republican that runs because they are don’t want rich people to pay more taxes and they are willing to watch

He already had the automakers pissed his first go around when he rolled back the emissions target, so it will be a familiar set of articles.

I’m not surprised that anyone selling a Jag of this era (or most cars of this age and value) posts an ad that’s short on words where it counts. But that just leaves too much open for interpretation and I need to assume the worst.

Since the obvious answer of “nearly every BMW” is taken, I’ll submit Chevy’s trucks:

The front is handsome. The back is pretty rough. Partly because of the sloped roofline, but in large part because of that spoiler. It looks like it belongs on a special edition of a hot hatch, not on a big lux SUV. The standard roofline has a much cleaner design.

“Aquatic hyper loop”

There’s already a river that separates the entire boarder between Texas and Mexico, it just doesn’t really ever have much water in it.....seems like Mexico could pretty easily trick the racists into giving up their water rights to build a “canal” that will “protect the boarder”

That may get cleared up as the it gets listed, but is an obvious question. Is the dealer selling it to get their money back plus some publicity and all profit goes to charity? Or are they going to donate some school supplies? Or is Charity the name of the sales manager’s mistress?

I always use impacted when I can’t figure out if I’m supposed to use effected or affected. Luckily I’m never reporting on traffic accidents.

Rich people charity dollars are not the same as real dollars, and for someone with enough money who’s always wanted to be an astronaut (and needs a tax writeoff), it will eventually sell.

That looks like RWD, versus the one in the article being mentioned as dual motor/AWD. And at $1000 less than the Long Range just didn’t make sense. A RWD model priced $10k less makes more sense, but I’m surprised they offer that in Canada and not in the US.

Yeah, the bumpers are really the issue on the appearance of these. The lights look much better than on our W126.

CVT transmissions are perfectly adequate for most cars out there and 95% of drivers. Most people couldn’t tell you anything about their transmission beyond “automatic” and have no idea what type of transmission they have, much less how many gears it has (the exception may be people who dealt with the Ford dual clutch

The low price on this 2016 family hauler, in this market, seems either too good to be true, or these are as crappy as I think they are.

I’m not sure what the inventory is looking like at the German rivals, but the Volvo dealer down the road from me has had an overflowing lot since the very beginning of the year. Seems like the place to go for a deal on a luxury car.

I guess it was about 10 years ago now, but Woodward on Friday nights used to be a lot of fun. There were strip malls where the muscle cars or the supercars met up that had some snobbery, and definitely douchebags racing and ruining it for everyone. But we’d go park at Potbelly (and everyone that parked there would
