Thanks for the added image. The one in the article seemed to show that it wasn’t just a “hit the gas instead of brake when parking” sort of incident. This one really shows how far they had to go to get to the building.

Seems like the seller is trying to get their money back on the work done. It’s nice, but seems like (maybe) and $18k car to me.
They are definitely going to be pissed, but at this point they should know better.
It’s still a competitive offering at a reasonable price, if we like it when it’s time to shop for a new car. It *was* “change plans and get rid of our old Rav now and into a new hybrid Maverick” at launch pricing.
And speaking of touchscreens; this Tesla Model 3 now has the gear selection on a touchscreen, much like the Model S and the Model X.
Hard NO on getting into a Stellantis built jet
Yeah, it’s easier on some cars than others to give just a tiny honk.
I give most people the benefit of the doubt that they are just fucking morons. They don’t realize they were going slow (for whatever reason) and then when a passing lane or something opens up they look down and see their speed and adjust. But yeah, there are people that are clearly going a speed intentionally and get…
A good friend of mine had the brakes go out on his Breeze twice. Once I was in the car and we were in a parking lot, so no big deal. The other he was driving on the highway. I thought both times were wheel cylinders exploding but Rob says 4 wheel discs above, so maybe I’m misremendering.
Given that it’s surely the nicest Stratus left in existence, and I’m sure you could find any part you needed for it in a junk yard for $3, I’d say I could be convinced it’s worth $4k for the nostalgia factor.
v6 Camry wagon with the double rear wipers?
Agreed, a car that’s a couple years older and double or triple this mileage isn’t going to be in significantly worse shape or require significantly more work to keep on the road. Anything under 75k miles in that age range is going to be well kept and clean, age of the parts is going to be where the repairs start to…
ND for a not-so-special edition.
Honestly, this is the #1 biggest issue I have with rooftop tents as a whole. Cost aside (because there is a huge range, and you can get one for 1/10th of this price or even more than this one), climbing my 1/2 to fully drunk ass up and down from there sounds like a terrible idea even sober. I’d need to change my…
Oh man. If I won the lottery I’d love to order one of those beauties, go to the factory to pick it up, and ultimately die a week later wrapping it around a tree halfway down a Swiss mountainside.
ND. Too much $$ for a car that’s that customized. Anyone looking for a Crown Vic is looking for a cheap blank slate they can make their own.
Most cars have some form of that warning now for front passenger use. In some cars it’s weight based, but in some metals and electronics sets it off (my cell phone did in my FRS).
Having grown up in the northeast, I thought people in the southwest were just idiots. Thought there’s lots of evidence to suggest that is often the case (everyone has bald tires and dry rotted wiper blades), remember that a lot of people down there are transplants and not natives. The natives in Arizona and Nevada at…
Man, that was hard Rob.
Ignoring the dealer markups (lets assume you find a better dealer) the price increases from Stellantis make it no surprise that they are having a hard time with sales. My work vehicle, a Cherokee, is a 2021 that was $31k-and-change sticker at the time. The exact same vehicle for a 2023 was over $35k - oh, and I just…
