I think the difference is that these cars recognize an issue and just stop where they are and Teslas just YOLO you over a cliff.

This is a unique, low mileage time capsule of a car, finally one that’s not the bare bones base-spec of an economy car!
It’s more like a rental. And rentals are.....well, it depends on your use case.
I think that EVs are going to give us a lot more options for vehicles that aren’t imported with combustion engines. Getting rid of the emissions aspect simplifies things significantly. There’s still the crash test part, and some other US regulations, but if they meet NCAP it’s pretty easy to add a few things to make…
I’ve seen the “nice” tahoes that show up at the municipal auctions, and they are pretty rough. Plus they come with a lot of question marks, such as “does that 93k miles also include thousands of hours of idling?”. The only people that buy them get them VERY cheap and flip them for thousands less than comps on the…
I really want that. But, like, and actual self driving car, not what we have today. Can you imagine how awesome it would be to just let your car drive you while you sleep/relax/watch movies? But yeah, I don’t need glorified cruise control.
Any manufacturer with half a brain has been phasing hexavalent chrome out of their products for years already because they did know this was coming. Oh, and because it’s already been phased out in a lot of the world. The US is late to the party on this one, which isn’t too surprising (whatever, we do this sort of…
That’s what I bought it for originally, but it wasn’t up to the task. Maybe in combination with a torch I could have made it work. I’m convinced that they use phillips heads on those because they make it easy to center your drill bit for drilling the screws out.
Rarely needed for newer vehicles, but priceless on old motorcycles
I get anxious when I’m in traffic and the passenger even leans forward in their seat. But maybe that’s because I’ve seen what an airbag can do and most people haven’t.
I’m gonna actually take that one step further. If you were driving down the road with your toddler on your lap you’d get a whole host of fines and probably be charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Every animal advocacy group should be petitioning their state governments to enact similar legislation. Keep…
I’m not a dog owner, so maybe I don’t get it.
The top competition package M3s have always seemed like a LOT more money for a little more performance, but I guess that’s how it goes as you build more and more performance into the base car. But they’ve also been getting bigger and heavier and it seems (to me) less of what an M3 should be about. Basically the best…
It does have 4 doors and seats 4. But the appeal of an M3 was always that it was super fast for a relatively non-descript sedan (even in the competition models), so I’m not sure I have an answer for you.
I didn’t think that land yachts were ever that popular in the EU
I was down, even without 4wd because whoever bought it would never put this truck in a position to use it. It’s a lot of money, but for a unique truck that seems to be in good shape.
A lot of the parts needed to restore it have to be impossible to find, right? I think being that it drives, it would be fun to tinker on and fix some of the issues while you use it but I can’t imagine it’s a good candidate for a restoration unless you had a parts car. So it’s a cool/unique/interesting hot rod to drive…
Those FSD subscriptions are paying off!
I know the depreciation is going to be low on a (relatively) unique 911, but you can go out a buy a band new Targa today and this one is 8(!) years old. I want a breakdown of the options list. Rob said it doesn’t have the chrono package, but it could still have 10 grand+ of boxes ticked just for paint and interior…
I mean, true on the I6, but you can get a new manual 2-door wrangler starting at less than this asking price. And if you are ok with higher mileage, you can get a 10+ yr newer wrangler with an I6 and in a higher trim for less. I think you’d really need to want a YJ specifically.
