I’m still confident that the lightning is going to kill it for Ford when they can get production up to meet demand.

I can’t believe I’m thinking this, but maybe it’s not so loony of a price?
From the future message boards:
So, is the Cybertruck going to be made with 304 (likely), 316 (better, but probably not), 430 (doubtful) or some other grade?
I’d really like to know how recent this data is and how many of these 7-8 year loans were locked in at 2-3%.
It could be a good move for them to get some tourist dollars:
Kind of, but in a “designer is getting paid by the crease/edge” kind of way.
Yes, I understand that the Prime isn’t new. But it seems like it wasn’t offered in AWD. I didn’t realize that the non-plugin Prius had awd already
Yeah, that’s my bad. Maybe I was thinking of the Prime.

I’m not saying this as a marketing professional, and I don’t know everything that goes into making the marketing materials, and so I’m not 100% sure how they made this image. But, based on my work at a major automaker about 10 years ago, I think a LOT of press pictures that get flack for looking unrealistic are not…
I think that statement is carrying a lot of fine print. The 918 had a front and rear electric motor, so this is more like the e-AWD on a Rav/Corrolla/Camry/Escape (i think)/etc. And all those Toyotas are naturally aspirated, but I guess they are FWD with the electric motor in back? Or they aren’t sports car, so that’s…
Side by side with a Wrangler or tractor, it was probably pretty competitive as a commuter for handling/NVH/etc. But it definitely reminded you that it was a real body-on-frame off-roader.
I was thinking the same thing the second I started reading the article. If they could make the a new one that got less abysmal fuel economy (which should be a lot easier with their newer drivetrains) it could be popular. Of better yet (for Toyota’s pockets, not for off-road enthusiasts) they could make a butched up…
The AWD Prius isn’t out yet. The Awd hybrid corolla, Camry, and Rav4 are NA, though. So they must mean for a base RWD vehicle or some shit like that. Marketing garbage, but not as much as GM giving “torque at the front wheels” like they did on the Hummer without any qualifier of what that actually means in context.…
Actually it’s a lot cooler because you can get one in a manual
I don’t know why I was thinking it would need less grill up front, since obviously it still has the same V8 with the same cooling requirements, but I was hoping they’d clean up the design to make it a little less busy. It’s a very intense machine, and it’s cool that it gets the Z06 looks, but I think a standard Stringr…
I’m seeing prices from $10k less (for a little older but similar mileage) to $10k more (for a little newer with 40-50k miles).
Definitely risky. I think the key is to go in thinking “I’m going to save money buying a used S-Class rather than a new one” and not “I can afford a new Corolla but hey looks I can get an S550 for the same price!”
You’re gonna want to spring for the professional install/hookup. Electronics are confusing, and you definitely need a sound bar (at a minimum) because new TVs simply won’t go loud enough to hear the news anchors and Pat Sajak (maybe not everyone over 60 is as deaf as my parents apparently are, idk)
