I was hoping that was going to get rolled into the lower models, but I didn’t notice that it had. Thanks!

The kits cost around 4 grand. It seems like there is a ton of fabrication and work that needs to go into it in addition to that, so it’s no easy feat. But like most project cars, half the point of it is doing the project. I’d love to build one myself (if I had the time, energy, etc) but I’d only buy one if it saved me…
Give the people what they want!
As others have pointed out, the emissions argument is a bad one if the discussion is between 1 heavier truck or two lighter ones. I guess if you look at it from the standpoint of “these EVs are really heavy and it’s an 88k lb truck that would have been a 75k lb truck 5 years ago” then it’s a mark against EVs. But it…
Trying to get all of their time and money, plus maybe even a little extra out of this. While modifications don’t usually add value, this one surely does on a 19 yr old beetle. But not that much. ND
Well it’s a shitty one
But cutting through like that is illegal. Cops just spend less time worrying about things that are actual safety hazards (like drivers blowing through a gas station at 25mph to avoid stopping at a red light) because it’s easier to sit in your car in one spot all day with a speed camera.
Given how ugly the new WRX is, I might have to agree with you.
but won’t give it the right trunk
It’s unique, but also not something that’s going to be particularly fun around town. It would be really cool to put some big tires on there and build an adorable overland rig, but this one’s too nice to be messing with. For those reasons I reluctantly hit ND. $9,999 all day I think.
Why did you get rid of your Bronco already? Just curious about the ownership experience.
I was just informed that the 2.7 is automatic-only.
Seems like they should be poised for a good year with the crossover-ified Bolts hitting the market after lots of recall related delays. But we’ll see.
Looks like the 2.7l is only a $1,895 option, so probably worth it if you are going in wanting the extra power. But for someone who has a 2.3 it seems like a great deal to get that extra power backed with a warranty.
I’m not worried about the wheels themselves. I’m making an inference about the seller that would take a Tahoe that’s presumably being used for kid duty, supercharge it, and put 22s with rubber-bands on it.
I’m going with “My wife wanted a minivan, so I bought her a tahoe. And I supercharged it to make her think it was fun, but it’s not because it’s a tahoe. And I put big wheels on it to make it even cooler, but it’s not because it’s a tahoe. And then she still wanted a minivan because having a tahoe with small children…
Something.....bigger? Than a Tahoe?
Absolutely, it’s a step in the right direction. A 10% reduction in emissions is nothing to scoff at.
