At some point I watched 2F2F and noticed that Paul Walker and Tyrese Gibson have an inordinate amount of dialogue involving each others’ asses.

Was this the ad campaign that drove Chrysler into bankruptcy?  It certainly wasn’t the ad campaign that didn’t do that.

Yes and that map isn’t complete—I pay extra to register my EV in VA.

Once again, the only person moving the goalposts—or even putting up goalposts—are people reading the tweets. Did Musk say he was planning to set a record? No. Did he say he planned to set a record for 7 seaters? No.

This whole thing is exhausting, but lost in all of the breathless speculation about tweets and ‘ring pissing matches is a pretty interesting question: With the various technical upgrades that have been made to the Model S recently, including the incorporation of motor tech that debuted on the Model 3, is the car now

So the grille is terrible, but it’s the weird...cleavage on the nose that really grosses me out. It’s like the car has front butt.

As in, the grille never ends

So...you need 3000 miles of range?

Yes, but with the bottom one, the front wheels are in the right place.

It’s a nice design, but once I noticed how far back the front wheels were, I can’t focus on anything else.

Omfg the lotto tickets. The scratch offs aren’t so bad—it’s rhe “choose your own number” customers that drive me bananas.

I mean, people keep saying that. But I bought a Model S (which, at the time, was a pretty expensive car) partly because it worked as a family vehicle. I have a couple of other cars, but I have neither unlimited space nor an unlimited budget. Would I buy a Taycan instead of my “fun” car? No. I’d rather commute/haul my

Except the Model S has a lot of usable space inside. That was the knock against the Fisker, too—it could barely seat 4, despite being huge. In its original incarnation, the Model S could seat *7* (and I actually did that a few times).

It had to murder them or else they would have gotten away

I think there will be quite a few garages that have both a Tesla and a Taycan.

How many actual outlets at each of those CCS chargers? I honestly don’t know, but is it standard to have 8 to 20 outlets at each one?

But, like...no.  People who have the money for a 100K car don’t automagically have the money for a 200K car.  That’s not how money works.

People paying 100K for Teslas presumably do.

Um, what? Why not?
