And what narrative is she pushing?

How is it a propaganda piece? It’s not sponsored by Tesla and aren’t they fairly against self-repair and modification?

Beer in a frosty mug is the equivalent of a well done steak smothered in ketchup.

Sorry to hear that, I doubt anyone treats contractors like human beings unfortunately. I’m sure Amazon didn’t offer any of aforementioned benefits to contractors: “We’re working closely with all employees affected by these changes”

Yup, I was still on insurance because I was still an EA employee. That was the big 9% worldwide reduction they did around 2009.

Crunch is enough of a problem that it’s pretty rare to see anyone older than their mid forties still in the game industry. Not only is it bad for the employees but it’s a talent & experience drain on the industry as a whole.

That’s how my EA layoff was; sent home but still getting paycheck for 60 days. I think it was a way to technically comply with the WARN act which requires a 60 day notice when having mass layoffs.

Wasn’t McDonald’s in trouble because they have too many menu items?

Really? I find E3 speeches pretty unbearable so I just sort of skimmed around. I saw subdued crowd response for FO76 but then more enthusiasm when it was revealed that NPCs are being added, literally the one thing everyone was begging for.

The pops for any mention of Elder Scrolls and Fallout IP vs their other games

people are too conspiracy minded, I feel like the guy was trolling: “I’m going to loudly applaud everything Bethesda does and it will be funny because everybody hates them”

Nah, I doubt it. E3 is a show designed to get the public hyped about game announcements and there’s alcohol. When you’re in that kind of setting you just sort of get pulled in by the energy.

Brenden Fraser was known for doing his own stunts and his body is a broken mess as a result, who’s to say Tom isn’t in the same condition?

I don’t know, I’m in games and nobody wants to go to E3; the last big studio I was at employed 400 people and only a small group would go to shows, they were the people on stage and doing interviews.
