I’m surprised that more people here didn’t mention that we see Miles walking with one hand in his pockets when he’s acting “mature beyond his years”. We see Peter walk this way many times in these flashbacks. This has to be a sign that Peter is possessing/inhabiting Miles during these moments, right?

If you notice, there are a few times when Miles puts his hand(s) in his pocket and that’s when I think Peter’s possessing him.”

Now playing

Man-servant Hecubus already spoiled this book/movie for me many years ago.

My mind was blown when I was watching a podcast review of these episodes and they mentioned that Amandla Stenberg played Rue in the first Hunger Games movie.

We have someone killing Jedi for some unknown incident that happened to Mae when she was a child, and these 4 Jedi apparently did something really bad to her to cause her to go on this revenge mission.

Counter-argument:  in the Jedi Fallen Order game your only weapon is a lightsaber and you can kill a LOT of people with it.

We’re led to believe that Mae’s experience with Jedi involves these 4 particular Jedi accidentally causing some tragedy. Her only experience with seeing a Jedi “pulling a lightsaber” may be that one of these 4 pulled it out and killed someone close to her.

“Your child has an amazing and powerful gift. You can let them come live with us and we’ll teach them how to use it safely, or we can leave them with you where they’ll have no one to show them how to properly use it and will very likely accidentally kill someone because they weren’t properly trained.”

This is the biggest apology Canadians have made about a celebrity since this happened:

The only malevolent ghost in Hill House was Poppy, and that’s because she was insane when she was alive so she was an insane ghost. Every other ghost may have looked scary but they were just wandering around the house living their ghost-life, not attacking anyone.

It was just a terrible decision to make that story into a family-drama miniseries.”

After the first few episode reviews that were mostly harping on the show not being a true adaptation of the novel, that was finally dropped and the reviews were about the actual show, and reflected the high quality. But I should have known it wouldn’t last, and this last review was a disappointment.

This is a hilariously bad take.

They’re talking about the body in the wall.  The cop says that he knows Hugh isn’t responsible for that one during the interrogation.

Trying to burn the house down in daylight wouldn’t have worked either.  We saw ghosts during the daytime in the flashbacks so the house would have been able to prevent a fire during the day too.

“Is poppy the only bad ghost?” Yes, this is made pretty clear. She was an insane person so she is an insane ghost. All of the other ghosts were scary looking, but none of them actually attacked or tried to harm the kids.

Stephen is literally the child we focus on in the first episode so it makes sense for the last episode to focus on him.

But the Dudleys were waaaaaay too chill about finding their poisoned daughter”

Even though Janet raised the kids after Olivia’s death, they don’t seem to like her very much.  Little Nell didn’t want to go and stay with Janet when Hugh went off with the police.

She literally gets to be with her dead child.  Is it that unbelievable that she would make this choice?
