“Tabula Rasa” is one of the most used episode titles in all of TV history.
“Luthor activates Ivo’s fail-safe and blows up A.M.A.Z.O.’s head, but with J’onn’s shapeshifting abilities, the robot just grows a new one.”

Yeah, that guy smacking Wonder Woman’s ass just comes out of nowhere. Is this a reference to the comics? Is this something that this character does there?
“he’s forgetting a big name from that roster, and it’s a smart touch that he’s unaware of Batman’s personal history.”
“when she’s given an opportunity to find out more about Thanagar later in the episode, she doesn’t take it. That’s because she’s a double-agent, sent to Earth as a scout for the forthcoming Thanagarian invasion.”
All of the WWII soldiers are way to casual about beings with superpowers suddenly showing up to help them. No one is saying “Whoa, what is happening here, this guy is flying???”
I’m amazed that a kids cartoon was allowed to include Hitler (even if he was frozen in ice). It wouldn’t surprise me if the show runners had to argue with the network about this: “It’s World War II! Hitler was leading the Nazis! He *has* to be there!”
Given Batman’s new origin in the altered present, there’s literally no reason for him to be wearing a Bat-themed outfit. In this alternate timeline he wouldn’t think that fascist Nazis would be “a superstitious and cowardly lot” that would be frightened by a giant bat.
“it’s courtesy of Steve Trevor, an American spy suavely voiced by Growing Pains’ Alan Thicke.”
I’m amazed these episodes were able to get as overt as they were about Simon Stagg’s feelings towards his daughter. It’s crazy that this was in a “kids” show.
Mordred was super-annoying this episode, coming across as a petulant whiny kid who wants his mother to give him a kingdom to rule over when he hasn’t actually earned it.
“J’onn tells Bruce, ‘Sometimes I believe I would do anything to see my loved ones again. You can’t imagine how that feels.’ Batman just looks down, knowing all too well.”
Take a look around you at the world we’ve come to know
Does it seem to be much more than a crazy circus show
But maybe from the madness something beautiful will grow
In a brave new world
With just a handful of men
We’ll start, we’ll start all over again
All over again, all over again, all over again.
The Ultra-Humanite being the one that betrays Lex makes no sense. Why does he do this? So Batman can donate money to PBS in his name? UH can literally use the money Lex is going to give him to do this, or he can just go and steal money on his own if this is his goal. And if he was *never* loyal to Lex and was always…
“After being poisoned by a bite from Copperhead, Batman stumbles out of his watchtower hospital bed to continue investigating the Injustice Gang. J’onn thinks Batman is trying protect his pride, telling him that he doesn’t have to prove himself just because he’s the only member without powers, but it’s all part of…
