“Weren’t they supposed to stay on Nevarro to help keep bad guys away? And to live on a big patch of land that Karga gave them? Gideon clearly has interests there, so this just seems very poorly planned.”

Kneel before IG-12 Grogu!

Even ignoring the ‘We finally have a place to call home’ / ‘Let’s go someplace else’ logic of the past few episodes”

Except most of season 2 was Mando trying to contact the Jedi to come take/save Grogu.  While it being Luke that showed up in the S2 finale was a surprise, a Jedi showing up was not.

Yes, but the episode is not called “The Spy”.

If you think this season is one of the dumbest seasons of TV you’ve ever seen, then you *are* sheltered. Calling you that is not being an asshole - it’s an accurate description.

I would have assumed that Root would have been one of the first people this column would interview.  He seems like a no-brainer for a Random Roles discussion.

The droid bartender was voiced by Seth Gable, whom I will always remember as Agent Lincoln Lee from Fringe. He is also married to this episode’s director, Bryce Dallas Howard.

Go back and read his season 1 comments - they’re hilarious.  He hates the show and is overly confident that the show will flop.  Once he realizes it’s a hit he spends the entire season trying to convince everyone that they’re wrong.

Grogu wasn’t cheating - he was helping Lizzo win.

The beskar armor was likely left deliberately to blame Gideon’s escape on the Mandalorians.

He spent the entire first season commenting on how the show was awful and it was going to bomb. Those comments are hilarious to read now knowing how the show was an immediate hit.

He spent the entire first season saying every episode was awful, convince people that the show was going to fail, and once it was apparent that the show was a hit, he tried to tell everyone that they were wrong. Reading his season 1 comments are hilarious.

“Considering last week’s episode ended with the tease that Mandalorians (presumably these Mandalorians) broke Moff Gideon out of prison”

Which member of the cast will eventually join SNL and achieve superstardom?

Lorenzo Lamas’ Banana Hammocks!

It wasn’t intentionally mean, but after the first (?) episode of JSS season 1, it got very emotional for the Schmo when the nice elderly retired marine got voted out and Schmo was really broken up about it.  The production team realized they had made a huge mistake and never meant for Schmo to get so emotionally

When BI was made, Michael Douglas was an Academy Award winning actor with a lot of box office successes under his belt. Stone was a rising star who had a breakout role in Total Recall, but had never (?) been a lead actress in a film.

Just give us a scene of 4 Krysten Ritters dancing together and we’ll be happy.

I did like the Salacious B. Crumb species tipping off the Mandalorians as to which direction to go to find the pirates.
