Alone and Forsaken was featured prominently in the show’s trailer, so those that played the game assumed it would be featured in the show.

Were people really complaining about that?  That scene in the game takes place *after* Joel and Ellie leave Bill and his town and are on the road.  Last week’s episode doesn’t get that far - it ends just as they’re leaving Bill’s Town.  So that scene wouldn’t have fit into last week’s episode.

In the game you’re walking around and suddenly Joel says “spores” and you put your mask on. Two seconds earlier he was only a couple of feet away from where he is now and the spores weren’t an issue, but suddenly there are spores and masks are necessary.

I was today years old when I learned that Superbad is apparently a high school movie.

Bill definitely has the hard exterior. The story he tells Joel about having “a partner” and kicking them to the curb does come across as a “half-truth” the first time you hear it, but by this point, Bill has told himself this version of the story so many times that he’s convinced himself that’s what actually happened.

Mr. King, it’s obvious that after the end of episode 2, Joel and Ellie slip into The Territories, travel 10 miles there, and then slip back to the real world.  Everyone knows that for any distance traveled in The Territories you actually travel a much longer distance in the real world.  So that “10 miles” was actually…
