People seem to forget that landlines still work when the internet goes down, or when your smartphone breaks/is lost.

I’m sure if I watched those episodes now I would cringe, but that fact that a popular drama in the late 90s had a multi-episode story with a transgender character who was actually portrayed sympathetically is amazing.

It’s very quick but you can see that Bruce shows up just before She-Hulk is about to pound those 3 guys and knocks her out. So those 3 sketchy dudes are still alive.

To be fair, of the time Gyllenhaal spent working on this film, probably 95% of those days he was not in scenes with Quaid, and vice versa.

I remember in the theater it got a huge laugh when they announced that Mexico was letting Americans take refuge in their country by the U.S. agreeing to forgive all existing debt Mexico owed them.

The one thing I really liked about Crystal Skull is that they didn’t try to mess with the timeline. CS was filmed X years after Last Crusade? Then CS is set in whatever year LC was set in + X years. And with Indy5 set in 1969, they are relatively close to this pattern again.

But ... but ... she’s white, blonde and attractive!  How can this be???

According to Reddit, Harlow is a huge Survivor fan and Probst invited him to Fiji while they were filming a season (not sure if it was the current season or a previous one).  So Harlow returned the favor and invited Probst to SNL this week.

I’ve always been confused about shows like this being on CNN, which is a news network. Searching For Italy is not a news show. Why is it on CNN?  There are plenty of other networks where it would fit better.

I can’t see his name without remembering the episode of Eerie, Indiana where he woke up and found that he was actually an actor starring in the Eerie, Indiana show and they made fun out of someone having the first name Omri.
