Don’t forget “Rudolph and Frosty’s Christmas in July” movie, where Rudolph’s nose stops working because he uses it for evil.  Yes, that actually happens.

“They’ll be desperate for my new creation.”

That was the main complaint of most people reading the original Conan Doyle stories - too much Holmes, not enough Watson.

The original screenwriters (Shusett and O’Bannon) have repeatedly said that they deliberately wrote the characters as genderless - in that any of them could be played by a man or a woman. If you read the screenplay they only give them last names and there are no physical descriptions that give away anyone’s gender.

I was wondering this too.

“something that bleak”

Yes, because most victims of unwanted sexual harassment have documented proof from when it happens.

Considering the iconic theme song, why not “Beverly Hills Cop:  Axel F”?

I love the fact that Cobra was based off of a book, and since Stallone wrote the screenplay to Cobra, he wanted to re-publish the original book with him listed as co-author. Luckily the author said “Uh, no.”

Do bananas still fit into automobile tailpipes? We need a scene in this film where Axel tries to do this but it’s an electric car with no tailpipe.

I want the alternate universe version where Sylvester Stallone starred in Beverly Hills Cop.

I understand that for the plot of BHC II they needed to create a situation that would have Axel *have* to go back to Beverly Hills and put his life in jeopardy, but having him become BFFs with Ronny Cox’s character between BHC 1 and 2 is pretty laughable.

“He tells Kamala she will always be ‘Our own little Ms. Marvel.’ And voila! There it is, Kamala’s iconic superhero name.”

“her friends, family, and community surround her. So do a line of local police, which is sweet, but also feels a bit message-y and unrealistic in an America where police officers are so often in the news for treating people of color in inhumane ways.”

“In what I found to be the only confusing part of the finale, he punches a hole in the ground that presumably takes him to the harbor via a tunnel.”

That inclusion in No Way Home was a homage to Aunt May’s “catchphrase” in the Spider-Man PS4 game.

I got a real Lois and Clark pilot vibe when Kamala’s mother gave her the suit.

As far as I know, no one ever called Carol Danvers ‘Captain Marvel’ in the MCU”

They had nutmeg!

Kamala’s crew gets arrested but not processed, so we’re just supposed to presume that both the feds & cops gave them a mulligan for meaning well.”
