I really dislike the modern beliefs that superheroes don’t need to keep their identity a secret and can share it with friends and family, or just have it be public knowledge, and there are no consequences.

Yeah, I took this as the Jersey cops were locals who lived and worked in this community.  When Kamala was using her powers and you saw the crowd applauding, there was a shot of one of the cops applauding too.

Well, those two shows are not taking a chance on a new character. Loki was already an established - and extremely popular - character, and What If? was alternate versions of established characters/stories.

Well, this comment didn’t age well.

Except that’s not what we got.  Kamala resolved the situation by talking to Kamran, not by fighting him.

“Not too long ago, Dan Slott wrote an FF story that had the X-cult saying that Franklin Richards should go with them because he’s a mutant. Then they find out that he isn’t a mutant and lost interest in Franklin (IIRC). X-Men fans on CBR went nuts.”

The best part of this episode was Kamala’s cousin telling Najma that she can locate Kamala by using the “find my phone” app on their family plan.  “How is it that I am just learning about this now?”

I can’t believe this recap left out the best parts - Kamran trying to bond with Bruno/Brian by saying that Argon is his favorite element, and asking about electric cars when he sees the Nikolai Tesla poster.

Yeah, the ClanDestine’s plan wasn’t to destroy Earth - it was to get home.  Earth being destroyed by opening the veil to get home was a consequence they were willing to live with.

The complaint about all the 13-episode Netflix shows (yes, even the well regarded ones) was that 13 episodes was too long and that at least 2-3 of the episodes were redundant or not important and could easily have been removed, making the season tighter and better.

As great as the shock of the snap and the FIVE YEARS LATER was, I feel like it was a misstep when they decided they weren’t going to undo and live with those consequences.

Yeah, as someone who read the various Damage Control mini-series when they came out and loved them, I’m disappointed in their MCU depiction.

Najima’s group have been stuck on Earth for 100+ years, trying to find a way home but failing. Suddenly they find Kamala who can help get them home, so even if they weren’t evil they would naturally be excited and want her to help them get home ASAP - 100+ years is a long time to be waiting. So when Kamala first tells…

So ... Hulk straight-up killed these guys here, right?

How could this recap leave out the two best scenes?

I loved how Kamran made a point when leaving to call everyone by their name and got everyone’s name right except Bruno’s.  Can’t tell if that was deliberate or not but it’s hilarious either way.
