I think it would be helpful to say that EV’s are not good for the environment, only less bad than ICE vehicles. I am ok with that, but the media is disingenuous with painting EV’s as solving climate change. Industry and power generation are the biggest culprits in CO2 emissions.

Said it better than I could. The problem with “record profits” is that there is no guarantee they will continue. In fact, there’s a lot of reasons to believe they won’t. There was a ton of pent up demand in 2022 and dealers were still able to charge ADM on just about everything. There still some of that in 2023, but…

The focus on CEO salaries is probably good for their PR, and definitely taps into the “eat the rich” mentality...but paying them $1 isn’t going to solve the problem.
