state and local officials have been trying to get tougher on dealing with the problem.

Happened to me a couple of months ago.  No idea why.  Seems you’ve recovered at least.

I’m sure that once they take the wraps off, it will be a good-looking vehicle, but nobody is going to buy this to truly go off-roading. The limited wheel travel, and lack of low range are non-starters.

The Element is going away?  :-(

“I know what I have”

That would likely end with the same result as squeezing blood from the proverbial turnip.

This stinks and the driver should be hit for the cost of the repairs too. But it was a replica bridge build in 1970, so not exactly historic.

So he’s using Elmo’s social media platform to bitch about Elmo’s truck?  Good thing Elmo does not hold personal grudges.

I like where you’re going, but it implies the owner might get the thing back.  How about impounded and sold for scrap, or crushed?

Probably not. Which should be the giantest of all giant red flags.  There are too many people/organizations who will not think twice about ripping us off.  If something smells fishy, it probably is, and we have to move on.

Previous generation Honda Accord Hybrid. Great mileage, pretty reliable and affordable. And can report that my 6'6" friend who owns one reports that he fits in it very comfortably.

Less and less, don’t you think?

I’m sure all the geegaws help to sell cars initially. I imagine many people turn off these features after a short period of ownership. Or wish they could...

Makes it look like it was partially crushed.  Someone should just finish the job.

Your Element could have been on the list. They don’t make the Avalon anymore either. My friend’s Element recently pushed past 250k. Still drives great - just needs a clutch.  What year is yours?

A one-off G6 with a 3.5l V8? Awesome!

That’s nuts. Quick research reveals that 5500 lbs is in the weight range for a Tahoe.

If I’m a crook, I definitely want to know about the jet skis in your garage.
