Seems the telemetry has the Tesla going from about 68mph to cutting over and braking to 50mph (posted speed limit) 0 mph as speeding tailgaters normal fucking drivers going with the flow of traffic slammed into the back of it. It seems that the FSD system is flawed to be too law abiding for it’s own safety.

I don’t know where you drive, but where I do, if I leave adequate distance, it just gets filled in. Could people have done a better job? Yes. But at the same time, no sane driver would come to a dead stop in the middle of two lanes of a highway.

What I see is the biggest reason why I don’t think AV5 will work in my lifetime.

Well I think the issue is, IF it was actually in FSD, it changed lanes and came to a stop for no apparent reason.  The road in front was totally clear, so barring a mechanical malfuntion, no driver would do a move like that.  That said, it’s ALSO clear the drivers behind the Tesla were likely following to close, or

The Tesla cut into the left lane and braked suddenly. So while according to the letter of the law, the people rear-ending it were at fault, but realistically the Tesla caused the accident. This is at the entrance to the tunnel, so drivers have to adjust their eyes. Even a safe driver might not be able to stop in time.

It’s a clean and luxurious wagon, so that’s good. The seller is a dealer posting as a private owner, so that’s bad. NP if it gets a clean bill of health from a mechanic who works on fancy pants German cars. The usual caveat that you will be paying in maintenance much of what you saved in depreciation applies.

How else are you supposed to get the bottom clean?

My cardiologist, who currently drives a Lucid Air, is on the list for the Celestiq.

Really? No. First, KG is almost “LG.” Second, at least here in the USA, if you use the word “mobility” on your product, we think of this:

THIS! People are mistaking hubris for competency.

I can’t handle that people still parrot the “neural nets” and related nonsense language. The Emperor really has no clothes here. It’s almost all 100% fabricated, in the sense that nothing Tesla has is any different that any other manufacturer’s adaptive cruise control system. There is no secret room at Tesla filled

You betcha

While actual results matter, in publicly traded companies it matters more how it compares to projected results. Don’t say 50 and then fall far short. At some point it’s actually illegal if investors can prove it was a lie.

I was about to be all in for the NP, but the interior threw me. That’s nearly just generic stock interior. If you have a van like this, it needs to be like this all the way. Forget the wheels being wrong, the entire inside is wrong.

I like old Mustangs a lot, but not so much this one. It looks to be nothing more than a tired old car with shiny paint. It’s a base model and was probably a 6 cylinder originally. I bet it still has the 6 cylinder rear end and little drum brakes. Way over-priced. ND

The outside is writing checks the insides can’t cash. ND.

OK, not bad. But did you see what the storm did to the pier gate in Port Stanley, Ontario? It turned this:

Somewhere in-between ‘not my job’ and ‘I don’t give a shit’.

Because British car electrical systems are SO awesome and reliable, let’s add another bit to switch between fuel tanks!

You can’t go wrong with this one. When it runs, you can cruise through town feeling like royalty without the generational guilt of wealth made through colonialism. When it doesn’t run, that interior is a damn fine place to relax while you try to figure out what the hell has gone wrong with it this time.
