Yeah, I fully reject all of this. I’m a stick shift enthusiast and will miss them deeply. But I’m not a child.

And we wonder why cars cost so much. Stop spending money on stupid shit. Make it work and not break, and stop it with the gimmicks. We don’t need to pay some overpaid tech worker to program fake automatics and fart noises into our cars.

So, fun story. Growing up, we didn’t have central air and had a pile of window units (7-8) in the house. When something when wrong with one that dad couldn’t fix, he didn’t throw it away, and kept it around in the basement thinking that the freon had to be disposed of properly.

They really need to make it easier to recycle these things. I’m really good about recycling most everything but I’m not going to spend 45 minutes going to a recycling center to discard a couple of batteries when I can more easily burn a truck down from the convenience of my own home.
