Thank you. This is almost exactly the response I was going to type. Between housing and car, you’re broke.

This is a car enthusiast’s site. If your most thoughful response to that enthusiam is to start calling people names, you need to go somewhere else.
I’m sure featherlite’s point was regarding engine configuration. BMW does not make V6s.
Fair points. But I think McParland was referring to some mistaken notion some people have that charging an EV is always free. Otherwise, I don’t know why he wouldn’t mentioned it.
Editors? The internet barely has spell check.
This is, apparently, a persistent problem for some of the good folks in Suffolk County:
A very accomplished gentleman. May he rest in peace.
Some people actually think electric cars are “free to refuel”??? What are they on?
Condolences, as the are beautiful cars. I assume you went into it with your eyes open. Glad you enjoyed it anyway.
It’s alright. Not a fan of white interiors - I imagine they look nice for about three days. I was initially impressed with the apparent cargo capacity until I noticed the high load floor. Combined with the swoopy rear hatch, it now looks kinda limited. Would it kill automakers to make a few wagons again?
Envista, Avenir.... Where are they coming up with these horribly forgettable names? They’d have been better off calling it the Wildcat, even though it is not remotely wild or feline. At least the moniker would be familiar/memorable.
Clearly it was a nice enough price for someone. I voted NP too, based on mileage, overall condition, and the restraint the owner showed regarding mods. Might actually be a real CAI. It’s not for me, though.
Are we talking about Houston in July, or the numbers cited in the article?
Very nice. The best looking generation of the Tacoma
Fair enough! Though too many giant SUVs roam the streets in my locale. One of these would get caught in their undercarriage, like a piece of corn stuck between your teeth.
Many of the cars presented in NPOND at least prompt me to consider their pros and cons. But this is a tiny, spartan deathtrap that I do not want at any price. ND for me.
They could do worse. I’m sure the next gen will get a turbo 4. Thus I plan on keeping my Gen 5 dinosaur til the end of time.
Why do people make up “facts” like these?
I have zero interest in buying anything new, as most of it is simply unaffordable for me now. I guess I’ll be driving my dinosaur 4Runner for a long time.
So the basis of the article was to complain that you can’t drive a manual anymore? I guess you’ll live anyway....
