I see lists of the most targeted vehicles all the time. While this is good information, it would really be helpful to understand WHY these cars are being targeted. I just searched for that very topic, and found nothing.

The biggest surprise is that Kia has sold more than 188,000 K5s.
I love wagons and manuals, and I like the look of Saabs from this era. Would consider buying something like this from a private party, but 100% no dice for anything offered by a shady BHPH dealer. Especially at this price.
Reprehensible on the part of whoever tampered with the machine. I don’t blame the dealership though. They were caught in the middle, and did the best they could by taking the appropriate action and reaching out to the affected customers. The notion that it was their fault, and should have “looked into it, and seen…
Just use two spots. Problem solved.
Ferrari Mustang? Silicone Valley? Please hand your paper to someone else in the class to check before you hand it in.
Seems like a case of premature reporting. Yes, a Tesla slammed into a fire engine. We don’t yet know why. The elephant in the room is self-driving. If the driver was not in control of the vehicle, it’s going to be a big deal. Otherwise the story could just as easily be <insert random make> plowed into a fire engine.…
You are correct, sir! A 125HP POS. Esmlie was being generous at 135.
But $14000 AND you’ll probably have to replace the engine? Doesn’t add up.
Sorry to hear of your experience. Screw GM - that’s straight garbage. Good information for all of us.
RE: the Mustang V8 comparison, the lone unit available the following year was a 4.2L with a miserable 115HP. Apparently the (V8) nadir for the Fox Body Mustang. Makes the TR8 sound like a rocketship in comparison.
How will this not result in a class action lawsuit? People paid up to $15,000 for a feature that will likely never be implemented for their vehicle. #fuckelon
Sorry, they spent all the money on the uninspired logo redesign. I’m sure the engines are still crap.
I don’t own a Tesla, so I have no dog in this fight, other than being concerned for the safety of all drivers. FSD should be recalled, period, and owners should receive a refund for a product that was never delivered. Let Tesla beta test FSD with stricter controls, rather than continuing to let it run loose in the…
Wouldn’t mind getting your money back? You should demand it!
I don’t think that excuses Tesla for charging their customers thousands of dollars each for the privilege of beta testing their software (and risking their lives) for years and years. This is going to blow up at some point.
Again linked to major drivetrain component fires. Is that better?
This was exactly my reaction. I struggle to classify Tesla as a luxury brand as well. Expensive does not equal luxury.
This all seems odd. Why would you put six minutes of effort into a CL ad, when you’re trying to appeal to a BAT-type audience?
This was my takeaway as well. You don’t invest that kind of time and money only to give it away a short time later. Feels like a car that could not be fixed right, and now the seller is baling.
