The Major sport that’s hardest on your body, is far and away the worst for your brain (and long term risks), but pays far and away the least and guarantees nothing in contracts (and has a history of fucking over it’s retirees) is having a problem with players walking away from the game.

So true.  The way those Indy fans booed him was truly disgusting. 

If there was a young man in literally any other profession who made $100 million before he was 30 and decided to retire, he would be lauded. The Wall Street Journal would write thousands of words of wankery praising his acumen and smarts and god bless America.

And men call women hysterical when we assert rape culture. This is exactly why we fear men.

I don’t think it was appropriate for the judge to instruct the jury to “hold him to the highest Michigan State Spartans standards”.

My friend is a former ADA. She said women were much worse jurors for rape trials than men in her area. Something about women reflexively judging the victim and picking out all the things the victim did wrong to make themselves feel like a rape could never happen to them.

Also, black male from Flint - a predominantly black town and a white woman. I’d hope that the jurors were just stupid and not racist too. Heck I don’t know which is worse.
