Thanks for the rabbit hole. Damn! That dude can hit notes far lower than most speakers can even reproduce.

Came here to say the same thing... except I wasn’t planning on using the word schnozzle... gotta say though, it kind of works.
Oh, I don’t know... the Cayman GTS 4.0 is a great deal, and it has a third pedal. More expensive, yes, but comparably equipped, less than $10K and it can be had with a third pedal. The resale would be better on the Porsche too. Corvette is faster but I bet the 718 is more fun.
Stainless appears to be standard. Black satin is optional at $700 US/ $790 CDN.
...unless it’s a 12 year old Honda Fit.
Turning an engine 90 degrees is bound to eat into wheel well space...
It’s gotta be red...
...and the front end, and the midsection.
The transmissions are pretty solid now (ZF 8 speed). Now if you were talking catastrophic Hemi engine failure due to cam/lifter failure, you’d be spot on.
Nailed it! (Ha!) Born August 75... The generations of music that had the biggest impact on me were - 90's that whole coming of age thing; and 60's to mid 70's rock - the stuff my Dad played played. Zeppelin, Stones, Dylan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hendrix, Eagles, CCR etc... his coming of age music that I grew up listening to.
We are obviously from the same generation... I don’t know about greatest, but something can certainly be said for the nostalgia it evokes. Sure beats the overwhelming amount rubbish produced today. (my apologies to rubbish everywhere)
I had a 94 GMC twin in the same colour, preceded by a 2 door 2wd Blazer. Two 12" Earthquakes and a HiFonics Odin amp, some sweet Boston Accoustics components in the dash and some cheaper coaxials in the back doors, pushed with a pair of Rockford Fosgate Punch amps, all tweaked with an Audio Control EQX for me. I even…
...where size, weight, and handling are not a concern, in a heavy stop and go environment where EVs are at their most efficient. Who’d a thunk it?
I don’t leave the house to drop the kids off at the pool. But... it’s possible that’s all the Changli is going to be suitable for.
Making this a Nissan will instantly drop it’s cachet. Could you imagine: “Alpine A110 - brought to you by the makers of the Versa”.
Rarely, no, no, no, no and yes.
I wasn’t even shitting on Tesla. Musk - absolutely!
Company Value and Stock Market Valuation are very different things. Tesla has a big head start, and few competitors worth mentioning (Leaf and Bolt are compliance cars, not full fledged EV efforts).
I know that Musk is the CEO of Tesla (and a douche canoe). Like UncleWalty, I wouldn’t buy a Tesla because of him. Sure, I’ve bought products from companies that likely have an asshole CEO, but clearly not enough of an asshole that I know who they are or what they’ve done. Hell, I’m an asshole at times too.
MSRP of a 1997 Boxster was an Andrew Jackson shy of $40K. that translates to $65,300 in inflation adjusted dollars. A base 2020 Boxster or Cayman today starts at $57,500 to $59,600 depending on whether you want a fixed roof or not. So $5-7K cheaper.
