It’s where I like to put my junk... I’ll show myself out...

Toronto, or rather the Greater Toronto Area is a pressure cooker environment (for numerous reasons) that provides a great deal of toxicity for its inhabitants. It’s a wonder there isn’t more road rage than there is.

Of course it SEEMS like is doesn’t have enough mid-range power because it DOESN’T have enough mid-range power. Peak power means shit if the rest of the power band isn’t there. Miata has 24 fewer HP, a half second faster 0-60, and unlike the twins, is silky smooth - I love the chassis (and that fact it’s a coupe) but

Remove engine compartment. Problem solved?

Not big on the styling - was hoping for more G70 or G80 vibe, but we got G90 instead. Will need to see in person. However, seeing as how wagons are essentially dead in NA, having another RWD unibody SUV is certainly welcome. My middle aged arthritic knee won’t complain at the easier ingress/egress.

The vocabulary in this this mockery is far too voluminous to be believable.

LOL, $314K! $617K for a condo, $1.04M for a SFH in my neck of the woods (Greater Toronto Area, 2019) House prices of course mean nothing without income data so... Median household income $78K/yr. Average household income $109K. The average salary of an individual in Toronto is $59K a year. Canadians cannot write off

His name is oddly appropriate ammirite?

I’m in Toronto too. 10kph over in a Versa? They don’t bother me much. It’s the 10-15kph under 2-5 generation old (likely beige) Corolla that chaps my ass. They never move over or acknowledge your existence, even when you (and the rest of the line up of cars) do move to the centre or right lane to pass them.

That would be sex in a very uncomfortable place...

Agreed, but they are still teething issues, one’s that would have been ironed out in the first year if it weren’t for the shitty dealers, and shitty technician training (and likely supply chain too). I mean they have the engineering know how - it is basically a four door Ferrari. When the QF runs, it’s a world beater.

Alfa rushed the product to market before getting the teething issues out of the way. This isn’t new. If I’m not mistaken the flagship (at the time) Corvette Z06 had overheating problems causing limp mode as well as metal shavings causing many of their engines to self immolate.

Considering vinyl racing stripes are $59.95, I sure hope these are painted.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I.. uh.. I think I like it. The wheel wells approximate the shape of the wheels, there is no black plastic cladding around them. The character lines are straight and rakish - not the incongruent mess of the Silverado. They finally got with the times and put in an IRS.

I loved me some of the 80's and early 90's Nissans so a man can dream. I suppose they could milk the QR25 and OMG, that engine has been in production for 18 years... Maybe a decent head, cams and higher compression for power on the cheap, or dip into the Megane parts bin for a turbo 2L. Jeebus, Nissan hasn’t put shit

The Toyobaru twins are a great idea, with poor execution...
I’ve driven the BRZ. I really wanted to like it. While it handles great, but is under-powered. Peak HP is fine, but the area under the curve is shit with the biggest hit where you need it most in the 3-5K rpm range. It feels well shy of it’s advertised

That’s still a 4.25" sidewall...
